Overall pretty satisfied.
I tried out an unridged foam protector before, and I liked it enough to buy and try out a different type of foam protector from a different manufacturer when I found a use for a different color.Outer most layer of the roll came dented in a lot of spots, looks a bit like how you 'x' your mosquito bites. I think it might be from the extremely tightly bound plastic packaging digging into the foam. The inner most portion of the roll was folded over quite tightly, that it wrinkles up when I try to straighten it. I would have been annoyed if I planned on using the whole entire roll somewhere conspicuous, but luckily for me I'm using only a portion of the roll on an inconspicuous area.I like the color, it's colored much like chocolate syrup. Blends in well with the furniture I was planning to use it on. I was afraid it would look a bit purplish because some of the other brown colored foam protectors had reviews that said they look purplish.I haven't installed the protector just yet (I will go install after I post this review), but the foam so far feels softer than other non-ridged protectors. I do like the ridge design and how it lets me wrap the protector around the edge of something that non-ridged protectors otherwise would be too bulky for or too thick for u-shaped protectors.

good, thickness
The foam, good, thickness, good, being abkento cut acoordinggly? Superb. adhesives poor. The ones im used to buying all had adhesives already prestuck onto the foam but this came separately. When i tried peeling them off they were difficult to do so and it doesnt even stcik so well.... they shiukd use 3M adhesives not some generic ones.... if it werent for the adhesives id have given this a 5-star n would have bought in diff colors to out it around the house

ruined my walls
These worked ok for my son not injuring himself on wall corners. I had them up for less than a year and parts of the strip started coming undone. When I went to take off the rest it either pulled the paint and drywall off or left an impossible to remove adhesive. I tried all sorts of adhesive removers and in the end I had to sand, compound and repaint 4' up each corner. Do not buy unless you're up for a project when you're through with them.

I just needed something and get the job done quickly and they work perfect.
Works for what we intended for. We bought these to go on the metal edges of our mattress frame against the wall as well as for the back of the couch and the wall. I just needed something and get the job done quickly and they work perfect.

We use it upside down!
Not as sticky as we thought it would be. Had them for over a year and on the edge where the kids sleep near they are tied on with shoelaces. Still these work really well when little heads bump into them. They do stick upside down well! We have loft beds and put them on the bottom edge so the kids could walk underneath without worry.

Not ideal for brick
This stuff would probably work really well on wood or plastic, but I tried it on brick and it fell off on one section over night and the other end came loose last weekend. So I can't recommend it for the front of a fireplace.

Doesn't work well on edges.
This doesnt stick for long time and comes off easily from edges.it works fine in a long straight line

This was a perfect solution.
Worked perfectly to prevent a desk from being torn up by a chair on wheels. We finished the desk and wanted it to be protected. This was a perfect solution.
