Easy install!
These were super easy to install. The hardest part was getting the stock bolts out of my FJ. But I sprayed WD-40 on them and they came loose. Very sturdy and looks great!

totally worth it! Fit my 2014 perfectly
Very fast shipping and super deal for this price with shipping! The bars look like have good quality and the finish is good too. Very easy to install. It comes with Bolts, lock washers and flat washers. You have 6 bolts on the FJ frame already, I ended up using the new bolts in the package, they are longer and have bigger head than the original ones. And, mine is 2014. I would recommend this product very confidently.

Easy to install
Very secure step- looks great and perfect for you're wife, girlfriend, to use to get in the truck. The company includes bolts and washers but there already there on the FJ Cruiser, just remove them and use them to install the steps. Holes line up perfectly. You'll need a 2nd person to hold up the opposite end while catching the screws. Job took 1 hour to install. It's been on for 3 months an no signs of loosening , or rattling - very secure- great product

Great looking, Functional, Good Value, But Install can be a project.
These things look great, not just for the price, but great. When comparing them to 500-1000 dollar rails that I have seen around, these look just as good and in some instances better. Install--- I am pretty handy, but I would say that the instal on these rails will take a few hours at best and would recommend having the tools ahead of time. The Toyota bolts are a 12mm, the replacement bolts are a 13mm. This is where I ran into the biggest problem. 4 of the Toyota bolts were so tight that I could not get them out (I am 6'1 and pretty strong). This resulted in me having to go to a local shop and they resorted to using their air tool. This was worrisome for me because if the bolt heads came off we'd be talking drilling them out etc... Luckily this did not happen and a ten dollar tip got me where I needed to be to start the install. I am a perfectionist and that could be the difference of 30 minutes or so. It still took me about 1.5 hours to complete the install. I weigh 190 pounds and I can jump up and down on them with no issues. My kids, 4 and 5, love the step because it allows them to get in my FJ without assistance. I like them because I cannot wait to have something other than my doors for people to hit when they are careless. Buy them!

Perfect replacement for my FJ Cruiser
Fairly easy to install, looks great, and sturdy enough to protect my vehicle when crossing rough country.

Look great and seem sturdy
I'm short but own a tall vehicle. I bought these and had a friend install them. They look great and I no longer have to take a running jump to get into the vehicle that I love.

Can't withstand Vermont's winters and salty roads
I liked the look, ease of installation, ruggedness and quality appearance. However, these Nerf bars definitley did not withstand the test of time - specifically the impact of salty winter roads on the metal. The angle iron attachements and nuts & bolts were ok, but after only 2 years of winter I was able to poke my finger through the metal tubing. As you might expect, the worst rust occurred on the front of the tubes facing the pavement. So after 26 months of use I uninstalled them and tossed them out.
