Impressive Mixer
The PTX 20 is a great little board. I've had it a few days and ran it through its paces. So here are some of my thoughts. It can be used in many ways. From a small acoustic/coffee shop gig, to being a personal mixer for in ear monitors, to an auxiliary mixer for another board. I own a Behringer XR-18, the PTX 20 is perfect as an additional (sub) mixer. One way I use it is with the Blu-tooth. I play and DJ everything from weddings, class reunions, private party's. The new iPhones don't have a headphone out anymore, a customer can just connect by Blu-tooth and they can play whatever song they would like at the event. I was able to connect to the PTX 20 the very first time and every time after that. Also having 6 extra inputs I can connect an extra mic for guests to use, this way it doesn't change our in ear mixes and with COVID-19 the guests don't have to touch our mics. The Effects are nice and there's a lot of them, 99 total. You can't edit the effects but for most people that will be a good thing. You can add as much or little as you like though. The sound very natural and clean. Also very easy to use.The PTX 20 has 6 combo jacks for XLR or 1/4 inputs, these sound very very good and clean. The plugs feel solid when you plug something into them. All of the 3 channel EQ and FX knobs are smooth and turn well, the sliders have a great feel and have a little resistance to them. Nothing about the board feels cheap. The PTX 20 has built in Blu-tooth controls that works very well and a usb port for playback of MP3's or wav audio. The USB port will also record 2 track audio to a flash drive! If you ask me for a wish, it would be to have XLR outputs, but the 1/4 inch outs are again clean and easy to get to.Over all I'm very happy with the mixer. I'm a 35 year veteran of the music industry. Anything I buy has to work as I'll be using it a lot. Most of the time 3 to 4 nights a week. (COVID stinks!!)

Mix it up
This review is for 6-Channel Professional Mono Audio Mixer, Phenyx Pro Sound Board w/ 3-Band EQ, Build-in 99 DSP Effects, BT Function, USB Interface Recording, Ideal For Studio, Stage, Karaoke (PTX-20). I am giving this mixer 5 stars over all because it is doing everything I wanted it to. I gave it a 4 star for ease of use because it is a little difficult understanding exactly how the record function is supposed to work. It does work, because the I was able to record successfully. However, I am not sure I got the record procedure correct. Also, I gave volumne level 4 stars because on one of the channels, when I turned the gain knob all the way up, the sound signal contained a little distorted sound like it was being overdrive. If I turned it back ever so slightly, the sound was fine. This mixer has a lot of good features and meets all my sound needs.

CHEAP AND VERSATILE
This is packed securely, but the shipping box is the item box so no privacy for what is being delivered. The item is cheap.. preamps aren't great. but it serves well for simple, temporary set up. I purchased this for its inexpensive price point and versatility: record direct to USB, onboard EFX w/ Dedicated return fader, XLR main outs, Audio interface, and Bluetooth. it is not road worthy material... plastic ... I use it for a small remote portable set up with a QSC K10.

Not intended for outdoor party
The design is incredible, easy to use, but just as they describe it, it is meant for a Smal room. Sound is good, not excellent, as volumes increase, some sound issues, like interference may arise. DJ’s cannot use this one, unless it is use for small parties indoor.Effects and BT availability are great features on this device. Design is beautiful, but the plastic make it feels like a toy, it is not a toy, is a good mixer for a home.

Most features on unit work poorly
Blue tooth doesn’t work right, trim gain don’t work properly with channel sliders for over all volume.

Very poor performance
My entire sound system fades in and out noticably using this board. I told the company and they wanted a video of it hooked up and operating instead of just replacing or refunding my purchase. Video files are a pain in the a$$ to email.I am a professional DJ, Im not "hooking it up wrong". Poor experince with this product.

Pretty easy to use.
I really don't have a lot of experience with audio mixing equipment. I had a little difficulty at first until I realized that I had accidentally plugged the output into a sub woofer instead of a powered speaker. Hey, they look a lot alike. The other thing I ran across was my Bluetooth signal kept cutting out randomly (worked fine until my guests arrived). I found out that the Bluetooth adapter in the laptop we were using for a Karaoke player was the cause. Re-read the first sentence. The end result is the mixer worked perfectly I just had a bad Knob Dicker. My wife and I had a lot of fun messing around with the effects, although I think it'll be awhile before we can reliably jump to the one we want to use for a particular song. You can't just punch in the number of the effect you want, you have to scroll through the whole list. We tested every feature and everything worked. It appears from the description that there are only 1/4" jacks for the output. In fact other reviews complain about the lack of XLR jacks for the output. Mine has them, there are output XLRs on the back. I'm glad of that, but I wish I had known that before I ordered my cables. That was one of the tradeoffs I thought I had to make, so I ordered cables I wouldn't really have needed, because I already had XLR cables. Overall I am very pleased with this mixer; It does everything I need it to do and is really pretty inexpensive.
