Love the taste of this product
I used this item to season a roast that I cooked in my crockpot. Unlike some of these seasoning packets, this one gives a home cooked flavor and is easy to use. I thought it was very economical as far as price.

Missing the teriyaki flavor
I followed the package instructions to the letter. Personally I think the list of things to add is incorrect. It says 3 tbsp of soy sauce and 1 tbsp of brown sugar. I believe it should be teriyaki sauce, not soy and 2 tbsp of brown sugar.Very quick and easy, but it had very little teriyaki flavor so I added more to mine. Try it yourself.

Quick and easy
I made this in the slow cooker with 4 small steaks, carrots and 2 cups water. I added some canned potatoes after cooking. I didn't have any peppers so omitted them. It turned out pretty tasty. I did have to add salt. I'm happy with this seasoning packet and would definitely buy again. Siper easy and came home to dinner already cooked. Can't beat that after a long day at work.

Good Spice Mix for Ribs
I usually cook ribs on the grill, but I have seen a number of recipes online where people have found ways to make ribs in the pressure cooker. I have wanted to try this method and this mix gave me the motivation to try. There are a couple of things to say about this, partly relating to the method and partly relating to the spice mix itself.I'll talk about the mix itself first as that is the main concern here. I like the flavor of the mix, and I will use all of it. It gives the ribs a pleasant, earthy flavor with a hint of smoke and not a lot of heat. It seems to be fresh and so far I have no complaints in that regard. I probably would have balanced the flavors a little differently, personally, but that's more in the realm of personal preference. The method is another matter entirely. I like using the pressure cooker, though the spice mix includes a mention of using a slow cooker instead. The problem with either of these methods is that it still necessitates using the oven to finish the ribs under the broiler. There's certainly nothing wrong with that but there are enough people that want to use the pressure cooker for everything that will be disdappointed when the pressure cooker is not enough. Also, a proper mop is almost mandatory while finishing under the broiler. This is a good spice mix that makes preparing ribs in the pressure cooker easier/faster/more convenient. It has a nice flavor and is fresh right out of the package. I'm still not sold on the method, but there's no reason this mix cannot be used on the grill too.

Takes all the guesswork out of cooking!
While these are absolutely tasty and make cooking a breeze by taking out all the guesswork of what to spice with and how much, the price point is a bit too much for me to use these regularly. If you have the disposable income for these and don’t have natural prowess in the kitchen, this will help you fool anyone!
