How many for what weight
These all worked really well....Things to remember and learned from experience.1) Put them on VERTICALLY not horizontally .... they work better.2) 1 strip either side for up to 8lb (4kg) and 2 strips either side for up to 16lb (8kg) so 4 strips is 8 of these tapes. 1 strip goes on the picture and then one on the wall.3) DO NOT hang them on the paper tape. Use the picture board. When you look at a typical picture frame on the back the framer will often use a paper tape to cover the cap between the frame and the picture backing board. Don't hang these on the paper or they will work the paper loose over time and eventually rip and the picture will fall. We had pictures falling after around 6 months. It takes time but you'll get the fright of your life when one crashes to the floor. Other than that these are brilliant.

Absolutely excellent totally recommend 😁
Absolutely excellent adhesion hold my glass mirror on the wall using 8 pads in total that's one pair in each corner it hold it really well and very strong. Command strips are the best if you have places you can drill or dont want to put a nail in the wall and on the other side they come off leaving no residue on the wall or item so so easy. I've used them for years I'm a disabled wheelchair user and have found that command strips have helped in so many ways holding equipment at the right hight so it accessible to me like coat hooks door key hangers even holds the letter rack by the front door. Also used to affix security camera to the ceiling so versatile they have so many uses and always hold never ever had anything come away from the wall follow the simple instructions on the pack and away you go. I do just check every few months if it's a heavy like the glass mirror in the picture to ensure the velcro is together and it has never moved. They hold a lot of weight 7.5kg on one pair of pads but if it's a heavy item ensure you use more than one and distribute the weight evenly

A very expensive mistake
If I could give this product no stars I would. I have a large glass fronted picture frame, weighing about 3.5kg. There is a hook to hang it from but it is recessed in the frame and would necessitate a very long hook. I thought I would try another method of hanging and went to Amazon to see what was available. The reviews on this product were good and it seemed to fit the bill of what I needed. I checked that the weight of the frame was not too great and used four stickers (which should have been suitable for up to a maximum of 7kg). I followed the instructions assiduously, leaving the stickers on the wall to adhere before putting the frame up. I put the frame up yesterday morning. Yesterday evening the frame fell off the wall, smashing the glass and cracking the frame itself. It is now a pile of junk that had cost me over £60! My advice would be DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Such a time saving product. These can be used in so many scenarios.
In the past I've needed to fix picture frames to the wall, baby monitors, coat hooks and many other things. What do I need to use? That's right, nails and screws. So I have to drill into the wall, put in wall plug, find the right screw or nail to fit whatever I need to mount. Then when you don't want it there anymore you're left with holes that need to be filled with plaster or wood filler, and paint back over them. It's so time consuming and as hard as you may try you can still see where you've tried to repair it. With these Command Strips I can get something up in a minute or two and when I need them gone it's so simple to remove. Best of all I don't get left with any evidence that there are there. I was asked to put a baby monitor up on the wall the other day. These things aren't light at all so I bought the Command Strip with the highest load value. It's a case of taking two strips, pushing their Velcro sides together, removing the adhesive strips. Then stick it to what you want to mount and sticking that to where you want to mount it. Baby monitor was up in 2 minutes (had to check I could point it to where I wanted to see). Job done and when it needs to come down I'll spend the same amount of time or less which is perfect for me!

Great if you're rubbish at DIY! (Like me)
The media could not be loaded. Command strips are on walls in almost every room in our house. I think we have around 20 pieces of artwork hanging with these. Being rubbish at DIY, means these are a godsend. No nails required and they hold up some pretty heavy pictures. These strips use 3M adhesive which is pretty-much the best you can get. It doesn't ruin the walls but it does leave a mark and can take the paint off if you snatch them off.The velcro fastening is sturdy and has never failed me. Just make sure you push the picture firming onto the wall so you can hear the velcro on the picture, fasten into place with the velcro on the wall. The only downside to these command strips is if you are in an old house. Our house is 150 years old, has cold brick walls. The glue on the wall strip sometimes doesn't like being hot, cold, hot, cold, on the walls where you may have a matt or gloss paint. I've had occasions where I come back from holiday and a piece of art or a picture is on the floor. On a couple of times it has crashed to the floor, damaging the skirting board and then breaking the picture frame.Would I trust them with the Mona Lisa? No. But they are great if your photos or paintings are fairly lightweight or if you live in a house where the walls are plasterboard, and not cold brickwork.Recommended. 4/5

Does not work at all. Be very wary.
I read the instructions carefully and followed the instructions just as carefully but when I attempted to mount a small wall clock (weight 3 pounds -- i.e not even half a kilo in weight) within minutes the clock fell to the floors and cracked open. The glass is smashed and the clock no longer works. This product claims to hold up to 5kg. When I mounted the clock (a small and light product) I too extra precaution and used four medium strips and according to the packaging and claims on Amazon the use of four medium strips should have held two kilos to the wall.I'm dumbfounded by the number os positive reviews for this product and I wonder if I bought a counterfeit or cheap knock-off and there is a genuine version of this product available on Amazon.
