I love using these when teaching my First Aid/CPR class. It allows the students to physically change out gauze pads if needed during our scenarios which can better prepare for real world situations. They have also commented positively about using them.

Have ordered these gauze sponges in the past and recently re-ordered. I have been very happy with them and probabl;y reorder in the future. The only problem I have had is that when they are shipped UPS they have been deliverd to the wrong address.

When I cut my big toe, resulting in a slow healing wound, I looked for 100% cotton gauze pads (called sponges, for some reason) to bandage it. They used to be everywhere, but now Medline is the only brand I found that doesn't use polyester in their gauze pads. They are sterile, individually wrapped, and pretty cheap. By refolding them, I could make exactly the size strip I needed to wrap around my toe. They feel nicer than the poly ones, and for some reason, I just like the idea of sterile cotton on my hurts better than polyester. The leftovers are still in their packets, sterile and clean, waiting for the next time I need some. They're a good addition to my first aid supplies.

my husband needs the 100% cotton and latex free gauze, that's why I always purchase this from medline, they seem to be the only company that sells the gauze with both my preferences.
