Solid product at a reasonable price unlike some Luthier products... it's sharp and worked great for converting vintage style tuners to modern Grover tuners. Fits nice and snug and exactly the size I needed. Just take your time and make sure you are perfectly vertical while reaming.

Exactly what I was looking for. I bought a set of locking tuners to replace a bent tuner on my 70's Japanese knock off Les Paul and realized they were too big for the holes on the headstock. This was easy to use and resulted in a perfict fit for my new Kluson 10mm tuners.

I was able to quickly and safely enlarge the holes in a guitar headstock replacing the tuners.

I bought this intending to widen the bridge pins on my D-28 but was disappointed to find that it was way too big for this function. I will keep it for future projects, but now I have to look for the correct size and 5* angle.

Very nicely cut & polished. I’m able to ream headstock tuner holes very very cleanly.

I've used this reamer on a couple of older guitar headstocks to convert from vintage size turners to more modern 10mm spec. Ive also used it to prepare the peg holes on a few cigar box guitars. I really like how having the cutting splines on only one side allows you to work more carefully and accidentally overbore the peg hole. I'm not a luthier and I don't use this tool every day, but for what I need it for, it works just fine. I would recommend.

I ordered this to use to taper end pins but the diameter is too wide to use for end pins. Now I have to order a smaller one. I'm sure it works well, but i cant use it....
