It's ok, but needs some work....
Update since last post. I may have discovered part of the problem. The rubber on the bottom that allows access to the microphone seems to have gotten scrunched up causing the film to be shifted. I believe that may be part of the reason air kept getting in. Pictures attached. I'll update again if that doesn't fix. Seems that area is a bit fragile and too soft considering how easily it squished. -July 15, 2016Let me start with, I love the design of the case and I'm also a fan of the toggle button being a a twist style knob. Very easy. I like that I can see the back of my phone also.At the very beginning this case was great, not saying it isn't good now but I think there is some work to be done. It was waterproof and good to go. Recently I have noticed I have to open the flaps and release air multiple times a day. I'm afraid that if air is getting in that water may also get in. Therefore I haven't taken it in water since I noticed this. I'm not someone that needs to swim with my phone on a regular basis but I do go to the lake every weekend and it gets splashed and/or rained on. For those purposes the case does just fine. However, $70 for a case that only protects against rain is excessive. What I feel like is the issue is that the bottom flap cover is weakening or not fitting as tight causing the air to get in. I will most likely have to purchase another one before going in my cruise next week.As far as sound, I hear it just fine but it's hot or miss whether others can hear me. I'm constantly having to yell "hold on" and then quickly try and release the air from the case so that I can continue talking. Some have mentioned removing the flap when it's not needed but I can say that definitely doesn't work. I've tried talking a few times with the flap open and people can't hear me AT ALL.So summary, it's an ok case. Not great but ok.

Exceeds expectations
I have used the other high end waterproof cases for iphones but this time I wanted to try the Catalyst brand because of their product for the apple watch. The price was a value if not the same as the other as we all the reviews so I got this from Amazon. After using it for several weeks now, I must say it has better attributes than the “other” brand. First off: it’s solid. The rubber padding around the case is robust. It didn’t pry open at all during several times it dropped. Second: it didn’t have too many moving parts; the ports cover is in one piece and nothing gets lost or tangled. Third: the design; having a clear back is refreshing; you can actually see your iphone! The screen cover is beautifully made, it hasn’t appeared to have a rainbow haze that usually is on the inside of it. This one is particularly annoying on the “other” brand. Lastly, the case itself is made with exacting fit that it’s difficult to open once its in place. I had to open it to remove a speck that go in the case while I was putting it together and it was a chore. Overall, I am very please with this purchase

Wavy screen protector
Seems to be a good solid case, however the screen protector has a bulked up wave in it. First case I’ve ever had with that. Makes me wonder how well it will hold up. Case is extremely hard to take apart as well.Update: I've had the screen protector for over a month now. The wave has only gotten worse; it sure does make things more difficult than what I'm use to (which is no difficulty). I have also noticed under the screen protector where I'm assuming moisture has gotten in, because it has the little swirly rainbow looking things up under the screen. The phone has never been wet. I'm thinking that means it is not waterproof? I will be buying a different case.

Some issues
Nice case but with issues . The front plastic screen gets air behind it and starts to form a gap between the phones glass and the built in plastic screen protector you have to open the bottom rubber flap to let the air out so the screen protector will lay back down on the glass every day. Also the back on this case is clear plastic and gets scratches all over the place the back of my case is starting to look very bad and I'm going to try and use some car wax to get the scratches out . The case is built well just not sure how long it will look good after a few months.

Fantastic! Great purchase!
I just got this on Friday, left at 5 am to be on the kayak for a day of fishing. I kept my phone on top of my tackle box, it got over-wash from the rapids and it worked perfectly. I usually keep my phone in my dry bag, but I wanted to check this gear out and it did not disappoint. Especially for the price!!!

Covers microphone and touchscreen does not respond well.
Passed water test, thought it was going to be an awesome case, until we made a call. The person on the other end of the line could not hear a word we were saying. Put on speakerphone and they could hear, but sound was very low. Case covered the microphone so it could not be used as an actual phone. The touch screen did not respond well either. Had to try typing several times for it to respond. Item is being returned.

Great case for a reasonable price
Just about a month or so with the case and everything is good so far. The phone had two good drops and some wet weather. No complaints so far. This case replaced a lifeproof case that was worn out. Definitely more substantial add than the lifeproof case it replaced.

Adds Bulk, but offers great protection
Got this for a friend who works in a kitchen where the phone is prone to drops on the floor and in water. So far works great!

Missing instructions
I ended up returning the product several times thinking it had a defect in the screen protector because it would "bubble up" when I had the iphone 6 inside it. When there was an air bubble inside the screen protector, you cannot press the phone screen properly, it was heavily interfering with how you can interact with the screen. What it doesn't say in the instruction manual is that, you can "fix" the bubble simply by leaving the waterproof plug open at the bottom of the case (the part where you open up to put in the USB cable to charge the phone), then press down hard with a credit card or something to push the air out of the screen. The annoying part is that you HAVE to keep pressing down hard on the screen when you plug the waterproof plug back in, or else the screen "re-inflates" and gets air trapped inside (imagine a balloon). I know this is a feature of the waterproofing, but I am complaining because this issue is NEVER mentioned in the manual INCLUDED in the case, NOR does it mention on how to properly address this issue.Great waterproof product, great screen sensitivity (when there is no air trapped inside the screen)Not a big fan taking selfies/photos, there is no large degradation picture quality that I could notice.Poor instructions booklet.
