Cat loves it, but it's already coming apart.
Well, we've had the cactus for about 3 weeks, my cat LOVES it. The cactus' and stand were very easy to put together, the base could be a little heavier (my cat knocks the whole thing over 4,000x a day by running full speed through our house and launching himself onto the cactus riding it to the ground like a glorious jockey riding his noble steed down a vast slope- and needs me to upright it so he can immediately ride his steed again). Very nice looking, goes with my 'eclectic' decor [I'm a crazy plant lady] and the whole thing is obviously fun for the cat; However- my cat has begun to peel the highest cactus' fabric off, and is pulling stuffing out of one it's arm (cactus' have arms, right?).In conclusion, I think my cat is part dog, and the cactus is a winner for $30, although I wish it would of lasted more than 3 weeks with Sir Blondis.

So cute!
Absolutely adorable. My cat Kayce is a scratcher. I just assembled this and he's already interested. I got the bigger one I believe (he's a big cat). It's the prefect size.It was so painless to assemble. It also came with everything you need. Not to mention it looks super cute in my house! It is a combination of hard twine and soft fabric. Feels overly secure.Over all if your looking for something for a big cat who loves to scratch... this is it.

Cute cactus
This is an extra scratching post for my cat in my bedroom, he has one in all the major rooms of the house to keep his clawing away from furniture. Since this was so different from what he already had; a plain scratching post with nothing else, he didn't know what to do with it at first. After he caught on, he seems to like it. I hide toys at the top where the cactus branches meet the main branch and he likes it. This post isn't really that big so if you have a big cat, like a Maine coon, you might want to skip this. I have a small ASH and he's just like a small/medium build (he's 2 and a half and 13.5lbs).

Muffy loves her new cactus post!
Following the wholesale destruction of her favorite scratching post, I set out to find something that would hold up a little better. Stumbled upon this cactus. Besides being cute (and it really is!), it combines sturdy rope to scratch on with softer grass-like textures on the cactus and the base. Easy to put together, and feels really sturdy. Muffy could take or leave the little ball, but LOVES the cactus base! A success as well as a fun conversation piece. Highly recommend this item. Let's hope it lasts a while! Update: So far, so good! The cactus receives vigorous scratching and batting and is still standing and still looks cute. Win.

Cat loves it
The base could really be heavier, even with the large it still tips over when the cat scratches it but it’s decent for the price

Our cats love it
This was super easy to put together. All four of our cats love it. We did have to remove the ball, but that is because one of our fireballs likes to chew them off and eat the elastic cord.

Cute
Not sure of durability as is new to home but is cute until the cats figure it out and set out to destroy, as cats do.

Cute and perfect for a cactus bedroom theme
I bought this to go at my daughter's cactus bedroom and it was perfect. It's cute and exactly like the description and the picture, as well as easy to put together. I can't comment on the durability of it because I haven't had it long enough but I would recommend it.
