This stuff is pretty darn good for the price. I honestly didn’t expect much from it at 5 rolls for $20, but I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s good and sticky, thick and durable and seems to be relatively strong. I haven’t used it in any real harsh environments but I can tell that the tack used is heavy duty stuff.The only thing that you have to watch is the sides of the rolls are very sticky also and it will stick to / get residue on things that you lay it down on if you leave it for a long period of time; especially in heat. There are small plastic rings that separate the rolls in the package that you’ll miss and throw away if you’re not careful, but those rings are useful to keep on the tape rolls while storing them so that this doesn’t happen.I’m happy with the purchase and would definitely buy again.

We purchase a LOT of duct tape and we have switched exclusively to this brand because of the price and quality. This is always the best price and it’s a great product too. It’s strong and sticky. It’s exactly what you need when you need duct tape, but it’s a much better price than other brands, so it’s a win win. Honestly, I think this is probably a little better quality than other brands too, it’s certainly thicker and we’ve had no issues.

They worked very well

I’ve used this tape on many different applications, not equal to gorilla or T-Rex as far as strong or extremely sticky , but for a medium grade tape it’s good tape. Medium for strength and has a fairly good adhesive back and does pretty good when cold doesn’t let loose, haven’t tried in real cold temperatures but for my application needs I would score it at a 9. Good stuff!

Great vallue for the price! Adhesive sticks well and abrasive provides an even coating.

This is my contingency plan. I wrap my plastic totes entirely in this stuff and send em on through the airport system.They've gotten cracked more than once, but since I used this tape I have lost ZERO goods in the totes. They're easy to tear and maybe not super ultra sticky, but they are plenty sticky enough for 99% of jobs (duct tape fixes anything)

I did not purchase grip tape for stair treads. I lift weight and I am teaching other people how to train with a barbell. I needed a lightweight barbell for beginners who lack the strength to push a 45 lb Olympic barbell overhead. I fashioned one from a 7 foot length of structural pipe and some bar clamps that weighs about 4 lbs. I wanted some way to mimic the knurling on an actual barbell. Knurling is the intersecting grooves cut into the surface of a barbell to improve the grip.I applied this grip tape on the sections that would normally be knurled. I had to knock down the 80 grit texture a bit with some 150 grit sandpaper. It was too aggressive for hands to grip, and would tend to wear down the high density plastic pads on my stands. With that modification it is very comfortable to hold, offering superior grip. You can see how the tape was applied on the photos.It seems to adhere very well to the bar. It was easy to work with, to cut and bend around the bar. We have yet to see how it will perform over time, with sweat and the torque and twist of gripping. I have seen no reason it won't perform very well as stair treads seems to involve much more stress than my application. I am very pleased with the purchase. It is a good solution to an unusual problem. Of course, now I have most of a roll left over, so I will be looking for other applications.I used this grip tape to

I typically buy name brands unless I see a big savings and my instincts tell me to give something new a try. I’m sure glad I did. We had rain coming and my beef steak tomato plant was still producing healthy tomatoes here in the middle of October 2024 in Northern Nevada. We covered my tomato plant with burlap and then put a cardboard box up and around it to keep out the low 40 degree cold off it. My son grabbed this new duct tape and just taped the box a couple times across the top. this great tape stayed all through the heavy downpour we had for 2 days and didn’t pull away from the cardboard even though it was taped to the top sides of the box. We didn’t want the box closed completely especially because it’s such a huge plant. This tape is definitely worth the money and will remain a household staple in our home. I highly recommend.
