Maybe I should have believed the reviews. They said some leaked and there were references to rubber washers. Did I listen? No, and mine leaked. Soggy bed at 03.00 in the morning. Not best pleased, not in the slightest.Up and about later, took the bottle out of its cover and tested for a leak. The screw plug - no way could it be tightened enough to stop a drip type leak which half emptied the bottle in 60 minutes.But I'm a retired engineer and just couldn't be bothered with the returns hassle - so I went to my workshop, to the 'O' ring department and selected one that was a nice snug fit (22mm), and it worked. Cost? way less than my shoe leather to the post office! And a nice warm bottle for my feet at night. Best water temperature is between 70 & 80C and that stays warm well into the early hours.Still grumpy but it's a nice warm comfortable hot water bottle at the end of the day.

Probably the worst purchase I’ve made this year. Beautiful soft cover but when you try to put water in it (which is its purpose) you end up with a soaking wet cover and can’t use it. The cover is not removable and the water for some reason doesn’t go into the bottle as it should. It keeps bubbling up and then going down into the bottle resulting in a wet cover so can’t even use it!

I bought the red one, this stained my pillow from first use. Very disappointed with the poor quality of the cover, please DO NOT buy it! Otherwise, it will stain and damage your clothes.

I haven’t had a hot water bottle since I was a child, and I have no idea why, because I haven’t put mine down since it arrived - it’s so soft and comforting. I bought it mainly because of the unusual green colour, which I love, but actually the texture is even softer than I expected. It doesn’t seem to be leaking yet, so fingers crossed!

I am quite happy with this hot water bottle. It keeps me warm all night, and it starts to cool off around dawn. I couldn't ask for more. It doesn't bother me, but that soft touch of the fluffy cover is not that soft anymore. However, I think it is because I use a lot while working at home. I am used to pet it (trust me, you would di it too), so I guess if I washed it would get soft and fluffy again.

This is a lovely hot water bottle for the money. But unfortunately I have come to open the 4 I ordered today to find there is a lid missing of one of them. I ordered theses on the 9th of April ready for our camping trip in May. I like to use hot water bottles to warm our beds up when Camping. Ours was getting alittle crappy and was ready for some new ones. I have only given this a 3 star rating purely because one of them had a lid missing,it's kind of too late to complain about it now as I ordered theses in April, but the hot water bottles are nice. Tempted to order some more there that nice and are going to be perfect to warm our beds up, but worried I may receive with lids missing. And we go camping next weekend.

Gift for my teenage granddaughter. Who doesn't love to cuddle up with a hot water bottle? Lovely fur cover makes it even better, and holds heat so much longer than the microwave ones.
