Nice looking, perhaps a bit fragile. EAsy to work with,
Easy to deal with, works fine. The only problem I had was that one of the levers that closes and opens the place to insert the speaker wire had snapped off. Fortunately I had 4 se of speakers to connnect and there is space for 6 so losing one position was not a problem and I din't bother to return it

Great product
Needed a control box to turn on and off speakers and add additional speakers beyond what the AV receiver could accommodate. This solved both issues as the outside speakers are now a button push away and have additional surround sound speakers that are all connected together. Really simple to use. Take the left and Right channel speaker wires out of the receiver and plug the auxiliary speakers into the unit.

Worst Speaker switch
A piece of junk. The inlets for the speaker wires are so small that no matter how much the wire is twisted it cannot be inserted, especially since this is for distributing sound using high quality speaker wires. Even if you are able to insert the wire the locks are so flimsy that they break instead of locking in the wire. I am throwing mine away because by the time I finished our remodeling and wanted to use these the time frame for returning them had passed.

Works great
Our home came with built in speakers in 4 areas with volume controls installed in each area. The previous homeowners had a powered splitter that took one powered stereo output and boosted it to 4 stereo channels while maintaining the required impedance. We did not have much luck with this device, nor did the manufacturer make a replacement that we could find. Our surround sound amp has extra zones, but cannot handle the low impedance of paralleling the channels. With this device, we can send the one powered stereo output from our extra zone, split it into our 4 ( up to 6) channels while maintaining the required impedance for the amp to function correctly. The installation was simple and the device works flawlessly.

A lifesaver!
I bought this to use for my outdoor speakers as I don't have a zoned amplifier and let me say that this thing is great! It is very simple to hook up and the zone selection buttons are very easy to use. The unit doesn't require any power and it provides up to four zones. You could easily wire up a small to medium sized house with just this unit. The speaker wire easily connects to the unit and holds them in place well. The unit itself seems well made and comparable to a more expensive unit. I haven't noticed any degradation in sound quality and I thought that the sound actually improved. I'm sure that a more expensive unit would offer more features and if I had a professional setup I'm sure that I would get one but if you're just looking for a nice speaker selector without spending a lot of money then go with this one, you won't be disappointed.

Volume control for zones, no wifi needed
I'm a big fan of this unit, as I like to have hard-wired speakers for quality. And I don't want the Whole-House WIFI type devices that work only as good as the internet. This is old school, and I love it. Works 100%
