I've used this shampoo on my dogs (show & pet) for many, many years. At a dog show, I met/spoke w/the lady who created this product. Years ago, when I first used it, I thought it may cause allergy reaction because the ingredients (tea tree oil, etc) are powerful. But I've never had any dog exhibit allergy to this product & I don't know of any of my friends' dogs that had issues w/it, either.** Concentrated: Be very sure to dilute this product w/plenty of water (10:1 or better is my motto). **** Potent essential oils: Be very careful to avoid getting this in your dog's Eyes!! OR Nose/Mouth **THIS IS A SUMMER MUST HAVE:This is simply the best product to NATURALLY beat fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, flies and other nasties. The smell is strong w/essential oils like tea tree, cedar and more. **UPDATE** 7/5/2023 - I thought I would update my review to say I continue to love love love this shampoo. I can wash my dog one day and clip him the next and still have the clippers glide easily through his curls without having brushed or combed him prior to clipping. My grandson commented on how good he smells too. I dilute the shampoo as it says prior to using and it easily lathers and washes out.I have tried several different shampoos and conditioners on my Giant Schnoodle. He is 3/4 poodle, so he has the tight curly coat of one. This is an all-in-one product. I watered it down like it says, distributed it evenly all over, and let him “marinate” in my dog tub for about 4 minutes, then rinsed and rinsed some more. I towel dried him and then finished with my HV vac and an easy brushing. Next was grooming time. OMG! The clippers glided through his coat like butter! I haven’t experienced this easy of a clip and his coat was pretty dense. The scent was wonderful to me — exactly how the manufacturer describes — and I did not find it overpowering. His coat stayed very soft for days. I didn’t get to really get a good read on that because we have a swimming pool and he loves to get in it. Even with that, and I always rinse him with plain water after he gets out, the scent and softness stayed longer than anything else I have used. I found it difficult to keep my hands off of his coat. Also, he always would scratch around his head and neck a lot with other brands, but I did not notice him doing that this time. I don’t plan on continuing to use this shampoo.

The media could not be loaded. My Dane has been having skin issues. I tried multiple things to tame the redness/itching including: probiotic, anti fungal shampoo, etc. Ended up taking him to the vet. He said it was an allergic reaction so I’m changing things that might be the culprit, one being his shampoo. As I’m a first time indoor pet parent, I need a shampoo that doesn’t leave the dog smell but a non negotiable is that it doesn’t irritate his skin. This so far seems to be doing the trick for both. Oh and the shedding… anything that could help with the shedding is a must. Not sure if it’s the steroids or antibiotics but he seems to be shedding less. But I bathed him two days prior with other shampoo, shedding was a little less. With this shampoo it seemed very minimal. My only dislike so far is the diluted product to recommend strength makes it difficult to work with. Good lathering even diluted. I even made a personalized bottle for the diluted product.

I love this shampoo. My standard poodle is now super clean and super soft, and he smells amazing.It's an herbal, woody smell, like cedar. Smells much better (and lighter) once the dog is dry! I keep on hugging him and sniffing him, he smells so good!The bottle says to dilute it to 8 parts water to 1 part shampoo. I made it a little stronger than that. It lathered super well and rinsed easily (after I left it on him for about 5 min).I was a little worried that, since it's a natural shampoo, that it would do what others have done to my doodles in the past and leave a waxy residue on their coats. Nope! This mink shampoo rinses clean. No need for a conditioner as far as I can tell, but I do keep his coat very short.I am basically planning to keep buying this shampoo forever :)

I love the shampoo! My dogs smell amazing, It almost smells like men’s cologne, but light. My dogs fur comes out very soft and silky

This shampoo is fabulous. I use on my two Maltese dogs and their coats turns out so nice and white and fluffy afterwards. I have seen no skin irritations. I mix as recommended and the product goes a long way. I plan to use it on my horse too.

This shampoo is nice and smells great! My dog loves to have spa baths and this shampoo lathers up and leaves my dog's coat soft and conditioned.I wash my dog once a week and this is mild enough and doesn't irritate her skin!

I have two shihtzus and I give a bath weekly. I wanted their hair to smell yummy, and at first when I used this, I didn’t smell anything. Once they dried fully I smelt the yumminess! It lasted about 3 days. Def made their hair fluffy and soft!
