Nora: The Girl Who Ate and Ate and Ate . . .

We bought this book for our little girl, but I ended up giving it away. I should have been more careful given the title, but after reviewing it, I got nervous that it might make my little one anxious about food. It's less playful and humorous than I had hoped for and a little more "finger-wagging" about overeating...

This book is really strange, and I'm not quite sure that it has a moral. But I bought it for a little girl named Nora and she makes me read it to her every day. She loves it.

The book itself is cute... but the edges were all crinkled and dented. Not what I would expect for a "new" book.

This story is so funny ! Children express their disgust at the way Nora eats her socks and shoes etc great fun .

This is my second purchase as "our Nora" put the first one in the bath. Great book, lovely illustrations. In very good condition for a used book.

My 3 year old boys has this book in his nursey and he kept going on about it. I bought it for him, I was suprised that he remebered the whole book off by heart and read it to me. I was amazed, Im trying to teach him the words now.Would recommend this book.

One of my children's favourites - 11year old son loved when he was much younger and his 4 year old sister loves now too.

Fantastic Book a Must Have Read for all those mischievous little girls and boys out there. Parents will enjoy this story too! My daughters favourite book she loves it being read to her and can now practically recite it off by heart...a fun story for everyone of all ages!!

And it is even funnier if your name is Nora (like me). My son loves is and I enjoy reading it to him.

Very entertaining reading to toddler! Had to buy a copy after borrowed at the library! Would recommend to purchase a copy!

Such a funny book bought it for my grand daughter

...und zwar auf ALLES in diesem tollen Kinderbuch. Der englische Text ist witzig, wortgewandt und lässt sich wunderbar vorlesen (ganz wichtig)! Die Bilder sind detailreich und trotzdem sehr klar, in wunderschönen, kräftigen Farben. Und Nora ist eine tolle Heldin, sehr präsent und kein bisschen verniedlicht, und nun ja, sehr erfinderisch in ihrem Wunsch nach Essen...und mehr Essen...und noch mehr Essen!!! Ich kenne den Autor persönlich und habe mich deshalb sehr auf dieses Buch gefreut -und es ist noch besser, witziger und liebenswerter als erwartet. Danke :-))
