First time using this hair and I love it... in the photo the hair is 5 weeks old (tree braids). Yes it has to be managed properly. I put the hair in 2 plates at night and wear a silk scarf every night.. I also use conditioner in water daily when shaking out the hair.

A young lady I know told me about this hair. After a couple of days I hated it but that quickly changed. It was because I didn't know how to maintain it. Once she told me how to care for it I fell in love😍! She told me to comb with a widetooth comb spray with a little water and retwist. From time to time add a dime size of lost body curl cream moisturize. Lastly it can be washed but using conditioner NOT shampoo. It last very long very surprised for this to be synthetic!

The hair is soft and manageable to be synthetic. It arrived quickly as well. Moving on, I have been installing hair, styling hair, and making my own wig units for over a total of 25 years. So I generally know what I'm doing when it comes to buying, installing, and styling hair. I get compliments all the time which I believe adds to my opinion of my hair-installing skills.That said, I purchased this particular hair because of the good reviews I saw about it on YouTube. I wanted to use it for a crochet style. Let's just say I should've paid more attention to the bad reviews. To be fair I've only had this hair in for only three days BUT I knew from day one that it might not last long. Here's why. The hair is too soft. It's the type of texture that doesn't stay locked when you knot it. So after I crocheted it in, locking it three times, and knotting it (like knotting a piece of thread), it still begins to come loose. I continued to crochet it hoping that it won't come all the way loose and fall out of my head at work around others. Although one strand did already but I was home. The bottom line is the hair is cheap and the curl pattern is pretty but I don't think it's the type of hair that you might want to use for crocheting. You might want to use it to braid it into your hair and hope for the best but not for crocheting. Happy styling!UPDATE: I've had this hair crocheted in my hair for approximately five days now and will have to remove it. I have sensitive skin and tend to breakout from some types of synthetic fibers. However, I don't remember ever having breakouts from kanekalon synthetic hair until now. I'm not sure what this hair is mixed with but it causes my face to burn and itch. If you have sensitive skin, beware!

I really liked this hair. I did a crochet hairstyle with it. It's been in for about 2-3 weeks. Based on the previous reviews when I'm not out i keep it in a bonnet like head tie. This hair is a bit woolly but it matches African African hair type very well opposed to the silky straight or curly weaves I get. I can tell if the hair isn't properly maintained it'll get very tangled and too hard to mange. Overall it's great for crocheting, curl pattern is beautiful, length is long and texture is good as long as u take care of the hair

Hair tangles terribly....the only way I was able too keep it in as long as I did was to keep it in some type of updo. The curls were fantastic just the quality of the hair was poor. My Stylist waa extremely upset with me after she was done due to the difficulty of managing the hair while she braided it

I don’t kno why this hair is recommended so much for crochet but I will never use it for crochet again. This hair tangles very easily I found myself throwing quite a bit in the trash because it just wasn’t salvageable. I think this hair would be far better to stick with braiding hair because it’s just too much maintenance involved when it comes to crochet. It took me far to long to finish and it comes loose in some areas. On top of that most the videos I seen on YouTube with this hair seemed wavy but mines was lacking Waves or any kind of bounce. Kinda disappointed with that. I also bought color 1 instead of 1b because I knew this hair look very dry and had no shine to it, I think that was def a good decision. The hair looks more realistic jet black as opposed to the off black color. I used five and half packs of hair to give it some fullness. It looks ok, I don’t think this style will even last me a month. Overall I will not be buying this hair again.Update: I am so disappointed right now that I have to take this hair out after two weeks. It took me forever just to put it in! My last crochet lasted me atleast two months. The hair is coming undone all over the place. On top of that it’s become very itchy when it touches my face or neck. I never had this problem before! I’m very disappointed that I spent $40 on this hair! Although I have gotten compliments on the hair I wouldn’t buy it again!!
