Solid hardware, fantastic product. Paper instructions could use some updating. The video of KDUP Hardware installing them was perfect, so watch that first.

I bought these for the garden gate I built out of rough cut white oak. Due to the nature of the lumber I was using, I chose these hinges because I liked that they were easily adjustable. I just wish the screws were a little longer.

Great looking hinges, and seem to be strong for now. The adjustability is very helpful only downsides are the plastic rings the put on each side of the adjustment nuts, they break off when you tighten them so I'd suggest going to your local hardware shop and getting some black washers. I'd strongly recommend using some carriage bolts for your hardware seeing the supplied hardware is very short and doesn't add much structural support. Besides all that I'd definitely buy again if I had to build another gate. Btw my gate us 6 feet tall and 4.5 feet wide so it's very heavy and these hinges have held up a few months already.

easy to install and adjust great product

These are better than the basic gate hinges in my opinion. They have points to mount on two sides of the post and gate, not just one. Reducing the pressure on the screws. Being able to adjust them is great. Makes alignment simple if there is a gate or opening size discrepancy. Not sure about the mounting screws/bolts though. Using real lag bolts might be a better choice for some.I recommend these hinges.

Updated 11/4/22; The company has made up for the snapped off/broken adjuster piece by sending an entire set of new hinges, as they explained the tiny silver adjuster bolts aren't available on their own (sad, because they can't cost more than a few cents each). I am completely happy with the way the company addressed my issue, especially after amazon's 30-day return period. Bottom line; if there is an issue, the company stands behind their product!They seemed very sturdy and I loved having them holding my gorgeous, handcrafted solid wood deck gate. Today is Oct. 7th, the return window closed Sept. 26th. This afternoon, I opened my gate and heard a loud "pop!", and knew immediately that one of the two silver adjusting screws snapped and is missing entirely. It has been working perfectly for over a month. I have no idea what made it pop off, nothing had changed with how or how often I was using the gate. It would be a very easy replacement, but there doesn't seem to be an option to replace just that piece. The gate still works but now only one hinge is under tension to pull it closed, so it stays open much longer, enabling by sneaky dog to squeeze thru before it closes.

Bought two packs since we needed 3 hinges. Very expensive but seemed to do the job perfectly… for about a month. Now no matter how much you try to adjust tension the spring inside is stuck/not moving. Sometimes it’ll catch and fling the adjustment tool into the abyss. So the interior spring is the problem. The entire reason we got these was for a pool inspection we have to have self closing gates. Now we’ve wasted money and have to rush to find another solution. My return window is also closed so I’m not happy at all.
