Its expensive, but its AWESOME. Great pedal to keep on your board regardless. It supplies two awesome sounding pedals on your board with the space of ONE. AND it automatically switches the other part off when you hit the other one. Great seamless switching from crunchy rhythm to a solo with the tone set to stun. T- Rex makes awesome stuff. Its expensive, but it is the heart of my board at the moment (With a metal muff/ wah combo i like to use for my solo stuff :D ) If you have checked out the T -Rex Dr. Swamp, give this guy a look too. this pedal is amaizing, realy sound killer overdrive, the settings two for used would you like, with my amp vox ac15 it's amazing

Absolutely loving my new Mudhoney II. Overdrive that cuts through and punches you where it matters. Excellent sustain too! Highly recommend it!

I sent mine back yesterday. The reason: poor design and placement of the tone knobs. They are entirely too close to the foot switches and I just don't think they will stand up to much real world use. One wrong move and I can see them snapping off in a heartbeat. If they were shorter I might have been able to deal with it, but they stick up just about as high as the foot switches and seem extremely fragile. Plus, there is no indent point for a neutral setting on them and I found it difficult to keep them centered.I suppose it's my own fault: you can't see or feel these kind of things on a YouTube video. But, I really expected more from a Danish design. (By the way, T-Rex only claims 'design' not manufacture. There is no telling where they are actually made as this information is conspicuously missing from all the official packaging.)

I really love this pedal (actually two pedals in one)

This is on my pedal board and is going to be staying there. It is extremely versatile. It will do high medium and low gain very well and works well with both single coils and humbuckers. I really enjoy that there is two identical circuits that you can toggle between. I have one set up as a low gain and one either medium or high gain depending on what I want for that particular set. The normal channel gets into medium/high territory but stays fairly clear. The boost side will go from medium to thick fuzzy rat territory.I really like this pedal a lot. My only gripe is that the tone controls turn a little too easily, so they are kind of hard to set.Overall, I think it is a good design and has great tones.
