I ordered the NIYIKOW Charcoal Bags Odor Absorber (Large, 4Pack x 200g), Nature Fresh Bamboo Charcoal Air Purifying Bags, Activated Charcoal Odor Absorber for Home, Car, Closet, Pets, Basement Odor Eliminator -Grey, And I'm happy with them. I will disclose I am pairing these with a few other bags of different brands and adding to existing charcoal bags I have in the house. They are each 200g, for a total of 800 g which will cover one room for me. I use these for whole house smells from a really icky smelling home that I've lived in for 7 years that is an old house smell mixed with dampness in my rainy climate and two fireplaces that don't get used. You also want to make sure you don't have leaks or mold but I won't go into that. These bags last about 26 months like clockwork for me, however, you need to do research to make sure you have enough bags to cover the square footage. Otherwise they will do nothing and you will be disappointed. I see a lot of reviews everywhere for people complaining and expecting miraculous results on a situation where they didn't do their research because you need quite a bit for certain spaces. Because I live in a rainy climate, I rarely am able to recharge these in the sun and they still work fine. When I first get them they take about 48 hours to take away the smells as long as I have enough bags for the square footage which is quite a lot for a 1700 square foot home. They take away the damp fireplace, smell, old house, smell, animal and cooking smells, and even smells from people that smell like sleep in the morning in the bedroom. I put them near furnace vents as well but obviously not covering them. You can put these back into the Earth when they no longer work. These ones worked with my other ones after about 2 days after I mentioned and everything smelled better. I always write the date I receive these on the bag so I keep all of them straight to know which ones no longer work after the two years is up since I have so many. I don't have any complaints, these bags are wonderful, thank you.

I bought these charcoal packs because I bought an expensive purse on a different site and it smelled like a musty basement. I didn't have much hope for the smell to go away, but it actually got so much better. I put the 4 bags outside in the sunlight to activate per instructions. I then put 2 bags inside the purse and 2 bags outside of the purse in an airtight plastic bag. I left it alone for 4 days and the smell was still faint, but nothing like it was. Therefore, I tied the bag up again for a few more days. I am impressed with the quality of these bags, there wasn't anything coming out of them like I have read on other charcoal bags. These work well and they will hopefully finish the job in a couple more days.

I got these charcoal bags to deodorize a kitchen cabinet. It had been previously water damaged (particle board) and the floor was starting to disintegrate. We were storing some water bottles in it that leaked, and that activated a smell that was pretty awful, and made the whole kitchen stink, even with the cabinet doors closed. It smelled like formaldehyde (or something else, definitely not a good smell). There was no actual mold or mildew, and we made sure the cabinet was thoroughly dry, but after being dried and aired out for days, it still stank. I tried baking soda, but it made very little difference. In desperation, I got these bags. After a day, I didn't notice a huge difference, but after a few days or a week, it was definitely less stinky, and now, a couple weeks later, I don't smell the cabinet smell at all. If I open the cabinet and take a deep whiff, I can still faintly smell the odor, but to me, that is acceptable, considering how awful and persistent the smell was before. I'm guessing it could further improve if I sun/recharge the bags and replace them in the cabinet. These were absolutely worth the price.

When we moved into the (rented) condo, we were disgusted by the (garlic??) odor all over the house and didn’t know how to get rid of it. We got these gadgets from Amazon and put two in the refrigerator (one in the fridge and the other in the freezer), one near the window, and one in each cabinet. The smell decreased and finally completely disappeared after a few weeks. I guess these things worked!! Thank God!

Extremely impressed by these. I have a musty basement. It's unfinished and moisture gets in so it's been like that for a decade. I run a dehumidifier 24/7 but the smell is there. Or was? I didn't activate these like some other reviews said I just clipped them to hooks in various areas down there and I noticed a real difference about 48 hours later. It's not a bed of roses down there but that real dank musty smell has been absorbed quite well by just the four bags. Pretty impressive for four bags that aren't huge.

Good value, took the stale smell out of the closet Wife uses it anywhere the air is stale or has an odour.

The product exhibits superior quality and elegant design.

I bought this to treat my car smell and humidity issue. It didn't make any difference to be honest. Note: the ac system has been checked by mechanic and it works fine and ac drainage is also fine.
