Same brand that was on our Grand Design fifth wheel, that’s why I purchased it.
The box seemed undamaged when it arrived, however the one door wasn’t securely fastened to the tube, the other end was fine. The ends are attached by what looks like a plastic weld, similar to spot welding. The one door end was coming off but I was able to refasten it with 1/8” aluminum rivets. It’s probably more secure now than it was originally. Other than that, it seems ok and will probably do it’s intended job just fine. It would be nice however if it had been made with more care and didn’t need to be repaired before it was ever used.

Came Missing Piece
Love the product but they definitely have a quality control issue. As many have experienced, I too received the storage tube without a door. Without the door the product is completely unusable. They shipped me one out with no issue but it caused the whole project to be delayed a week.

Easy access doors.
I have had this type installed on another rv and really liked it, way better than the type with the twist of doors that get dirt in them and bind up. However… this one arrived missing a door and the other end was broken in shipping. I contacted the seller and instead of sending a replacement they are going to send new ends. I will need to cut off the bad ends and put the new ends on myself. This means it’s up to me to buy the glue and I will loose some length on the carrier. What’s up with that?

The RecPro sewer storage tube will do the job, but needs better materials!
First of all, RecPro delivered this sewer hose storage tube in a very timely manner—actually arrived 3 days early! However, when I removed the tube from the box (saw no exterior damage to the box), we found that one of the hinges on one of the end hatches was broken and would not stay on the end of the tube. This hinge is very flimsy—should be designed with a stainless steel pin, for example, so that it will last a long time. Also, although mounting it is very straightforward (4 stainless steel self-tapping screws), because of the way the “end hatch” is designed, it’s very difficult to get a drill-driver bit onto the screws. Finally got it done, but would be nice to be able to remove the end caps to be able to access the mounting locations more easily. On a positive note, all it took was a phone call to RecPro and they are mailing us another hatch to replace the broken one at N/C. Hope it arrives intact, so we can put it on. In the meantime, we’ll wire the broken one on so our hoses don’t wind up on the road somewhere! Just use better materials and tweak the design a bit, and you’ll have a top-notch product!

Good Product, Doors are weak sauce.
Installed in minutes. Also, broke a door off in minutes. Ordered replacement doors and have since fixed it, but I do see them breaking again in the future.

Great customer service
Not the most durable system. Pipe sags when extended and door hinges are not very strong. Ours broke during shipping but a replacement was shipped out right away. I would recommend this product because it is American made and thier customer support.

The way the unit is designed makes it difficult to install.
The product is made well except for the holes for installation.

Does what it is intended for and more
Shipping was quick with no damage. Not that you really need them, but there were no instructions or any documentation along with them. There was also no mounting hardware included. I do understand this, as there are any number of options for mounting. I used stainless self-tapping 1.5 inch metal screws to attach to my RV's frame. Cost was less than $10 for 8 screws. In my case, I did not feel the need for center support due to a hefty amount of overlap between the 2 sections (about 20 inches). My one suggestion would be to maybe beef up the hinges system on the tube ends, I don't forsee any real problem but it seems the plastic pins and hinges may be a bit on the light side.
