Whole Foods Market, Tiramisu Family Cake, 16 Ounce

This was definitely one of the best tiramisu cakes I’ve ever had outside of my grandmother’s. I bought it a few times when I couldn’t find mascarpone cheese in stock or ladyfingers.

This cake is so light, moist and good I couldn’t buy it often, or I would gain way to much weight. The other factor in not buying food from Amazon Whole Foods or any of their delivery services, is the ridiculous delivery charge. Almost 10.00 for a prime member is unconscionable. I won’t be using any food delivery service of Amazon again, but that cake was beyond great!!!

This is easily the best Tiramisu around, even compared to restaurants. As far as I can tell it's quite authentic with what they sell in Italy at pretty much every corner. I also like the price tag. Quite affordable as a family pack. You get nice chunk of excellent tiramisu for your money. I keep going to Whole Foods just for that item. But don't bother to go there on a Friday afternoon. It's usually sold out, not surprisingly. Again. This classic is excellent. I mean it.

I was nervous to order this because some of the negative reviews on the cake being smushed upon delivery. My cake was perfectly intact and looked beautiful. I gave it to my husband on his birthday as a surprise because tiramisu is one of his favorite desserts. Man, this cake was absolutely delicious – one of the best tiramisus we have ever tasted. I don't know if we got lucky, or if Whole Foods has improved their delivery process, but as I said, the cake was packed and delivered with perfect care.

I took a chance, having this delivered to my sister in her birthday, because I’d never ordered from here before. But the flowers and this cake were a lot cheaper and I could ordered it at the last minute. Since reviews were good, I took a chance. So glad I did. My fussiest sister said it was delicious! She couldn’t stop eating it. Flowers were also beautiful! My only complaint is that the delivery person just left the cake and flowers on her porch, without even ringing the doorbell. Good thing I made sure she was going to be home when they arrived. I also took a chance because it was in NY in April and not too hot yet. She was home, but didn’t even k is it had been delivered. So glad I told her to go look. It could have been a disaster if she hadn’t been home all day. Other reviews had mentioned that they might just leave the order without any notification, so I made sure she’d be home. 4 stars only because of the poor delivery issue. But great products!

This is the best Tiramisu I've had!! I Highly Recommend it! It is Non-Alcoholic Version. I have ordered this Tiramisu multiple times from my local Whole Foods Market and it is delicious!! Well Worth the money!!

When I first bought this in the store, an older Italian guy at the register raved about it. He was right. It's as good as I've had in the best restaurants and seems to be made with real lady fingers and marscapone. It definitely needs to be handled as "fragile" and "This Side Up" by delivery persons; Whole Foods should have a protocol whereby bags with such items are color-coded or somehow marked as needing special handling.

This tiramisu is delicious, I tried several from different places and brands and this one bested them. I was worried about delivery in the heat of Arizona and how long this was taking to get home and it got in perfect shape.
