It warped, slowly.
Per photo, I took 4-5 days oiling both sides leaving overnight. Kept away from moisture. After about 3 weeks of use it begin warping. It has been several months and the gap is more than an 1/8th inch.I waited hoping for ...a miracle? I like the quality of the board and reviewed extensively before purchasing. I cannot recommend this board.

Quality Cutting Board
Although my "old" Catskill cutting board was still functional, after many years of use, it deserved to be replaced with a brand new Catskill cutting board. I looked at other boards, even bought a few which were relegated to the garage after little use. Catskill will forever be my only board because of quality and beauty.

Non traditional use
I needed a very heavy block of wood to use as keyboard tray when mine became unwell. This fit the bill. It's large and it's heavy. I do notice some minor warping.

A great, heavy-duty board
I do a lot of cooking, and prefer wood cutting boards. My old one finally died after 15+ years, so I looked for the biggest one I could find on Amazon that had a reasonable price. It meets all my needs with no complaints. Nice and large, and is reversible, so there is plenty of working area. It is thick and heavy, not warped, so it does not move around when chopping. I treated it day one with a butcher block conditioner (mostly food-grade mineral oil), and it took on a beautiful color. I see no reason the board won't last for years.

Perfect sink cover for extra prep space
This is perfect for apartments with little counter space it fits perfectly over my sink. Add so much more space for prepping.

Great Board
what can i say. great cutting board. hand made by true craftsmen, with real hardwood from the catskill mountains. this bad boy should last a lifetime if maintained correctly. i purchased the butcher block oil directly from catskill craftsmen so that i could take care of this board properly. the oil is very well priced, also. i couldnt be happier with my board purchase.

Stick to the BOOS
Quality just not there as in the BOOS cutting board. I just recently purchased both. Did the advised prep with mineral oil and beeswax let it set over night. The Catskill grain is not as dense I guess as the BOOS. Parts of the board soaked up the oil so much I even reapplied. The Catskill if you look at it from an angle the grain is raised looks like the fuzz on a peach. And if you rub your hand across it its rough. I did my first slicing on it beef steak into strips and the knife left real aparent slices in it. I also used the BOOS to slice onion and garlic it left marks but not as much as the Catskills. I washed both up and the Catskill looks like it needs oiling again. The BOOS looks brand new. Catskills looks very pretty though from afar just beware of the different type of woods they use I guess- in my kitchen and mind stick with the BOOSUpdate little more than 2 weeks now after purchase the board is warped!! Nice
