Amazing headphones. The noise cancelling feature is a revelation, does a fantastic job and feels natural. I kept forgetting I had them on and would take them off and suddenly hear how noisy everything was around me. The feel of the headphones is very soft, and they're not tight which makes them comfortable, I don't have to worry so much about getting a headache after wearing them for awhile, or having my ears hurt. The actual sound quality is also great. Best headphones I've ever owned so far. As for this particular bundle package, the mic stand is a nice touch and useful, but the extra hard case isn't needed. The headphones already come in a hard case in the package, which is smaller and more compact than the extra case included in this bundle.

When I first got the product, I didn’t think too highly of the noise canceling capabilities. I could still hear sounds (albeit very muffled) with the noise canceling turned on (no audio, just the plain noise canceling. Sometimes I want some peace and quiet ok? 😭), especially higher pitched noises like an electric saw being used at my neighbors house (You will NOT be able to use these to sleep through that noise, I was very frustrated 😡). But, I was unfairly comparing these headphones to in ear earbuds who just by design, have an easier time isolating noise even without audio. However, while using these headphones wired or Bluetooth *with* any audio going through, I quickly learned that I couldn’t hear ANYTHING that wasn’t the audio coming from my device (so if you ever need to drown out an electric saw, definitely don’t do what I did and definitely turn on music). Now my family complains that they can’t reach me without tapping me on the shoulders 😂. If there was anything to complain about, I’d say the bass is not as punchy as I’d like. I’m very sensitive to higher pitched noises but absolutely LOVE skull vibrating bass. These headphones do not have that. That being said, the bass is not bad at all. You can clearly hear it and it sounds clean, not muddy, it’s just not that ear drum busting type of bass. It’s something that I’ve learned to appreciate and even love. Overall Im happy with these headphones. Oh, and these are NOT sweat proof.

I know MX6 is available as well. I, personally, did not notice any difference between this and the MX5 version which I have also used. This may be a bit old but works very well, retains battery life, and a great value compared to the latest model. Unless you are one of those folks whose hearing maybe extremely sensitive, or want to have their hands on the latest model, I think this model offers a great value

These are very good sounding headphones. The only problem I have is after about an hour they hurt my ears slightly. It's not bad but sometimes it is bad enough I have to remove them for a while before using them again. I wish Sony had incorporate a bit more cushion in the ear piece and possibly made the ear cups a bit larger. I would like to be a product tester for Sony to help in making headphones better as I feel I could do that. The noise cancelling feature is so good I don't hear anything at all going on around me. Sometimes if I cough though it turns off the noise cancelling. This is not a problem though as it suppose to do this if you or someone starts talking. One problem I'm having that is irritating is that when I power on the headphones using my smart TV it will say bluetooth is connected but in reality it is not. To get the bluetooth activated I have to go into my tv sound control and pair the headphones as if I'm doing it for the first time. This is definitely a feature that Sony needs to improve on. All in all I really like the headphones and I use them daily. I tried on a lot of others in stores before going with these Sony WH1000XM4/B Premium Noise Cancelling headphones and for this price point I'm happy with my choice.

I keep these things on my head for hours at a time either listening to a kindle read a book to me in it's horribly sporadic voice, listening to youtube videos, or plugging it in to my PS5 controller for my video games. Super comfortable on my head and the noise cancelation is pretty awesome. It doesn't feel like your ears are filled with water like with other headphones (like Raycon). You don't have to turn them on when plugging them in to something, but they won't use noise cancelation if you wanted it. Battery life is really good and it's easy to figure out. Just a button click and a voice will pop up and let you know the approximate percentage by 10's... %50, %60. No %55. The stand that comes with it looks nice, but I feel like it's basically useless. I only ever used it 5 times. I use the headphones in too many places for them to have a stand in a single place. Charging is super quick as well. I know that if I have a low battery I could plug it in for just a few minutes before I leave and have a few hours of listening.

I wish there was a desktop version of the phone app: I use these w/ my computer to watch tv & movies, so I'd like to be able to use the bells-&-whistles that come w/ the phone app. Noise cancelling is great! To me, sound quality is bassy; I'd really like to be able to play with that w/ in the headphone app, rather than in my computer settings. I've used these a few days in a row now and only experienced latency once and was able to eliminate it by rewinding 10 seconds. I've also only had to charge once. I have a small head, but after maybe 5 hours, these are kind of uncomfortable on my ears; I need a break. However, when I lean forward, they want to fall off of my head, so I'd say fit is "ok." The charging cable that is included is 9" long, so count on buying another one. Construction feels very sturdy and high quality. I would've preferred white over the strange beige color. This package comes w/ a wooden stand that I like a lot: helps keep things tidy.

These are really nice head phones. I wear a hearing aid in one ear and these work fine. They paired well with my Samsung newer smart tv and my Android phone. Good sound quality. Worth getting good quality head phones.
