I'm not sure this actually does anything that a little elbow grease and baking powder could not do. Not impressed with this or other Astonish products.

I tried using white vinegar, baking soda, all sorts of cleaners on my mug, but there was always coffee stains at the bottom. I tried a tablespoon of this stain remover and it remove the stains from the bottom. It actually removed some stains on the sides of my mug that I didn't notice were there until the bottom was cleaned. So, I needed up using more to clean my mug. My wife's white ember mug also had coffee and tea stains that I could never remove before as well. This stuff cleaned both of our mugs without any issue. I also had a zojurushi travel mug that had been stained for years and this cleaner was able to clean that mug as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to remove stains from their mugs.

Works 100%. After reading many reviews I decided to try it. Remembered to take before and after pictures. Put some boiling water in with 1 spoonful of powder. Wait 2 hours as the fizz does it's job ( definitely make sure you do this in the sink. It will fizz over). Then just wiped away the gunk with a paper towel. Zero effort. Mine was not as bad as some of the pictures I've seen but I have no doubt it would work on stains and build up way worse. And no more lingering bad taste. Truly is like having a brand new cup.
