I've been doing a lot of easy little upgrades to my home, and one of them was replacing all of the old, dirty, bent door stoppers with these, which made more of a difference than I expected. These are well-made and have much cleaner lines than the old spring-style ones. I also appreciate that the tips are some sort of soft rubber or silicone, so they don't damage the door if it runs into it at high speed. And there's no annoying twangy noise, which is important to me because one of my cats likes to lay right against a particular door, and every time she moves or cleans herself the door repeatedly bumps against the stopper.I actually decided to install them about 10 inches up so that I can easily vacuum under them, since cat hair was always accumulating under the old stoppers that were placed lower down. There just happen to be outlets right next to where the stoppers needed to go and they look surprisingly nice (at least, as nice as basic door stoppers can look) next to the white outlet covers. Also, they're quite durable - a heavy mirror fell on the one in the photo and ripped it out of the wall (and took quite a bit of plaster with it), but there's no damage to the stopper itself.

Ordered door stops and pocket door handles in brushed nickle. Very nice quality. Pocket door handles look great, but cannot get to lock. This is more on the builders placement of the latch plate more so than than item. The hook arm is short so placement of strike plate is imperative. Not necessary for mine to be locked so no issue.I received the 4 pack of door stops and realized I needed 5. Contacted customer service and they responded quickly and were more than helpful!I recommend the product and the Seller. Both are great. I will use this seller and products again.

Easy to install, high quality, attractive. I was looking for Baldwin brand door stops because they’re a high quality brand and I have Baldwin knobs but I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for. I was worried these might feel cheap but decided to give them a try, and I’m very glad I did. They do NOT feel cheap. Nice and heavy. Easy to install and feel very sturdy. Rubber tip gives substantial protection for door. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve bought numerous door stops for my rental properties. Other manufacturers provide them with a hard plastic tip which totally defeats the purpose of keeping the door from getting damaged. That’s because the hard plastic tip dents the door. These have an appropriately soft rubber tip that stops the door and stops the damage. I highly recommend them. These will be the only ones I get for my rental properties from now on.

This door stop guard comes in two parts, the door stop fixture, and a threaded anchor that screws into the base of the door stop, and then into the wall or woodwork (plasterboard inserts included). The door stop I was replacing had a press-fit anchor screw that came loose from the base over time. It doesn’t look like this unit will have that problem. A quick suggestion when getting ready to install the anchor screw. Add a drop of oil to the treads to make it easier to screw into the base.

Returned similar items (door stops) to a big box store...piece of junk. These have a longer shaft and are much more durable. Would buy again.
