I am really not sure why there are negative reviews on this sink plug or drain cover. I have a laundry tub in the basement and the plug just never held water. NEVER! So I finally started searching for a replacement plug. Oh so many to choose from. This item made the most sense to me. It would cover most or all drains in your house, whether it was the kitchen sink, shower, laundry tub or whatever. This works and it works very well. I had filled up the tub and left it over night and nothing leaked out, not even a drop. I guess just simple physics makes this product work so well. More water creates a better seal based on pressure but still works as long as you can cover the plug with water you will be good to go. Also I saw where some reviewers mentioned how difficult it was to pull the plug. Not true, very easy to lift up. This is a great solution to your leaky plug issues. For that reason I'm in.

Not much to say; either it leaks, or it doesn't. And it doesn't leak, so I'm very pleased. Inexpensive and effective; can't complain about that!

These are quite universal, will fit almost any bath or shower sink without any leakages. Note that they are WIDE - size of a floor drain

I recently purchased an old house, that has no plug in the bathtub. I love taking baths, so I was pretty sad thinking that it wasn't going to be an option. I purchased these hoping they would work (they are bigger in diameter than my actual drain). They work perfectly! The seal is so tight that I lose no water in the tub when I am in it. Even after using bath bombs, epsom salts, etc, the colors have stayed exactly the same. The only thing is, you have to be a bit careful if your foot runs over it (there is a little raised area in the middle where you can pull it up), because if your foot gets caught it can pull the whole thing up. This has only happened less than a handful of times, but it is just something to keep in the back of your mind!
