I have several DVD's from a Christian Series that I love to watch...and unfortunately I have scratched up. When the dvd's started skipping etc. I knew it was time to find a product to clean them up. Now days when I pull up any product on AMAZON, I read reviews first. I was impressed with the number of GREAT reviews for this product, so I ordered it. I was NOT disappointed! MY DVDS ARE WORKING AGAIN...THANKS to these great cleaning wipes.

These CD or DVD wipes are good for removing surface lint or smudges on Disks but dont expect them to remove serious glitches or hang ups. They are dry thats the first hing so they cant really be expected to remove any ingrained glitches but cetainly for the maintenance of disks and keeping them dust free these are very good. I was looking for somthing that would really help to illiminate some hang ups and getting stuck type glitches that I had so in fact I ended up just buying a new DVD of the same recording...but its a good product for maintenance. I guess the lesson I learnt is not to leave the disk in the player when not being used. Also the method to wipe off a disk is so important not to use a circular motion say like you would on an old LP recording..so I did in fact also learn something from the instructions as well.

I collect movies & TV Shows as a hobby & these wipes are great for removing light debris, smudges & fingerprints... really great. The are phenomenal on glasses too. You can use a single cloth quite a few times before it starts to leave it's own debris behind but you just grab the next one. A very good product.

it cleans soiling and deposits on a CD but I think other products even those available in your household might work just as well
