Works well
I was looking for a desktop conference speaker as it was tiring wearing headphones for work.I have had the odd issue in MS Teams when the mic doesn't appear to work but that's over a VPN connection so I'm not sure if this could occasionally cause an issue and, in any case, a quick restart usually resolves this. Excellent for hand-free phone use. Can easily hear the other person and they report hearing me very clearly, even when I'm walking about.Generally seems to work fine in Zoom and MS Teams.I wish I had bought this sooner as it's so handy for hands-free phone use - btw connected to Android phone.Recommended. Thanks.

Good little device overall.
For the most part this works great, I've used it with MS Teams on my laptop and Zoom, FB Messenger and regular old calls on my phone. It can even connect to my laptop and my phone simultaneously. Sound quality is good for calls but not quite rounded enough for me for music - but I only got it for calls anyway. The only problems I found with it are that it doesn't seem to like 2 people talking from different angles and different distances on FB Messenger calls. My wife and I tried to use it for talking to family and the first time it struggled picking her voice up but would pick my voice up ok. I had updated the firmware already and set the speaker to 'conference mode'. We're both normally softly spoken but I was directly in front of it about a metre away and she was to the side of it about 1.5 metres away. Since then I have tried more experimentation and it seems to work best when it's on a hard surface, you're close to it, roughly equidistant and you make an effort to speak clearly, but she still struggles with it and doesn't like it overall. The only other minor issue I found was the mute button doesn't sync up with MS Teams so there is the opportunity to double-mute yourself, but I only tend to use one anyway.Other than those things I think it is good overall and makes a useful addition to my office bag.

10/10 - Would recommend
Ordered this for a large Zoom meeting in work. Really simple to operate and very clear to hear around a large table. People watching via zoom complimented how great the quality of the sound was. It's definitely great value for money. the best quality for me is that its battery operated so no annoying cables running across a room to the laptop.

Great to break free of headsets both for PC calls and phone calls
I use this primarily for work calls, mainly video calls, but also phone calls. I like that I can have it connected to my computer by USB and also paired with my phone over Bluetooth.Unlike some other devices sporting a single omni directional microphone and claiming 360 degrees, this has six microphones and then light up when activated so I'm fairly sure it would work well on a medium size table with several people around.Sound quality from the speaker is good and the recorded sound is clear and at a good volume even from about 2ft away which is the best place on my desk for it.It's rechargeable but I haven't used it away from my desk so I can't comment on battery life.

It’s alright
It’s not as widely compatible as I would have wanted and the lack of ability to turn off noise cancelling is a serious problem with something priced this highly. I can make this function to record a meeting, but it’s lack of compatibility with everything outside of zoom and teams is really not what I expected and the recording it would make would be unusable. However, I do use Zoom a lot for meetings and I had hoped find a use for it. The sound quality is absolutely appalling because the noise cancellation is automatic and way over the top. It wasn’t necessary to build it in considering the software it’s meant to work with either has that option or it’s automatically added in the mobile app. I think that’s why the sound is pretty poor…it’s doubling up. I would go as far as to say that it is unlistenable to anyone on the other end of a conference call, it really is dreadful and actually quite embarrassing when you are chairing a meeting. As a Bluetooth speaker it’s not great. It's a £5 speaker and at £5 you probably wouldn't be pleased and would send it back. I wanted to give it a chance so I tried to use it for less important meetings, but nobody can understand what I'm saying as it cuts words in half.I’m disappointed as Anker are usually OK. This could be repaired in firmware, but I’m doubtful they will do it. Perhaps if it was made compatible with soundcore it would solve a lot of problems, but AnkerWork is a bit of a pointless app for something like this. It’s a shame as it’s obviously built well, but I suspect it’s going to be a paperweight for most people without a major update. I can say, without any doubt, this is the worst microphone I have ever bought from £1 microphones to £400 microphones I own nothing less capable than this. Why on earth would anyone create a conference microphone with inbuilt noise cancelling that can't be turned off? It's such a shame as I bet the components inside the device are perfectly capable.
