While the enema bag is adequate for its purpose, I would have the following suggestions/complaints: (1) the storage bag provided is too small to easily put the emema bag and its components into it really should be several inches larger in both dimensions to allow easy storage and removal. (2) the fittings should be more tapered so that connecting the components is easier. The connectors provided require quite a bit of force and twisting to get them started and securely inserted into the tubing. A bit difficult but doable if you have arthritis. (3) Although assembly is fairly straight forward, the manufacturer could be more forthcoming with better instructions.

Certainly a product I would never had thought I would be reviewing...but here I am. The bag is a heavy gauge rubber and appears well made so it should last a long time and it easily held 1250 ml of liquid. Comes with all the attachments and tubing to get it all connected together plus a good variety of tips. The process of connecting it all together is pretty straight forward too. There is a swivel type shut off valve attached to the hose, but it also comes with a clamp type shutoff you can put any where you want on the tubbing which can make it easier to have it within easy reach. Another good reason to use the clamp is you can test the flow rate to get how you want using the valve and then use the clamp to shut off the flow. I did not do this and used the valve instead and well...let's just say I was not prepared for how fast the bag would empty with the valve fully open. So word to the wise...test the rate of flow using the valve first and then shut it off with the clamp and use that to start the flow when you are ready. Other than that it's a nice kit and for a very reasonable price.

Unusual item to write a review about. I really needed this in a hurry and got it the next day. I just looked on Amazon and checked the ratings and bought it. The last one I bought years ago was clear so nice to see the fluid levels but it leaked. This one was water tight, well made, the stopcock works perfectly, not a drop leaked from the bag. Bag is solid so you have to squeeze the bag to estimate how much is still in there but that's not really an issue. It's a bag that will last. Got the job done, cleaned up easily and have it stored away. This is the type of item you may not need often but when you do you need it NOW. If you are considering one buy this one and have it in place BEFORE you get into that emergency situation. It's not like a gift you give to friends, but, one day you will have wished someone did gift you with one. Until they do, get this one and have it handy.

Inconvenient to use relative to my prior one which was clear plastic, had a large hole in which to pour your liquid, and you did not have to turn it upside down to use it. Here you pour your liquid into a small hole, where some of the liquid forms around the hole and thus doesn't go into the bag. You then have to squeeze the top of the bag near the hole and turn it upside down to remove the liquid. You then screw in a tube, and then turn the bag upside down to hang it. Because it's blue, you can't see how much is draining. I much preferred the one I had before as easier to use.
