I had brushes that were as old as my first born! 🤦🏻‍♀️Sad but true so time for new! After weeks of reading & researching articles on the best brushes, I decided on these. I feel I made a great choice! They’re nice & dense, soft but not too soft. Synthetic brush head is cruelty free!👍🏻 The slight smell present upon arrival quickly disappeared. As with anything new, a quick washing of the brush heads with warm (NOT HOT) water & a gentle non-sulfate soap like baby shampoo or a brush cleaner (& just the brush heads, don’t soak the wands), will easily remove any odor. You should clean your brushes regularly anyway!) Each brush comes in its own individual wrapper, a nice touch especially after cleaning so you can keep the brushes neat after you clean them. There’s brushes for everything, even a crease brush, one several articles felt was lacking in other kits. For beginners, this is a great! My kit was missing the fan highlight brush. I contacted customer service, explained the problem, & they immediately sent me a replacement! They actually sent an entire set of all the other brushes too, (just sans the case) which is more generous than I expected! The brushes have wood handles, which I prefer, and the brushes feel great & do a great job applying both eyeshadow as well as foundation and concealer. All the brushes are numbered & have the name of what their supposed use is on the wand! So whether you’re just starting out, already have experience, or are replacing your 30+ year old brushes like I did🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️, this kit would be a great set for every and anyone! The case is a very nice bonus too! With the holidays around the corner, this is a wonderful set to give to yourself, or someone who wants a little help getting their ‘beauty on’! 👍🏻👍🏻

I’m 39 years old, so I didn’t grow up with YouTube tutorials. We used our fingertips for applying so much. I used to always use my finger for eyeshadow!! Yes, I know, that’s “cringe.” What can I say? Now that I’m maturing, I’m starting to learn how to play up my features to bring youth to my face. I bought a cheap set from my hairdresser last year, and they were a good start. I cannot bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on brushes….it ain’t gonna happen! So I bought this one to start off with, simply bc I wanted more eye and contouring brushes. If you’re not that into all of this, the quality will be great, because how would we know the difference! Lol. I’m learning how to use specific brushes, I have a few that I haven’t even tried yet. It’s surprising how many brushes come in this set. Anyway, the brushes themselves are very soft. I’m sure they wouldn’t be up to professional standards, but if you’re just starting out like I am and you’re not concerned with what influencers tell us to buy, these will be perfect for you.

My girlfriend needed some new makeup brushes but didn’t want to spend a fortune on them. I saw she had these saved in one of our lists on Amazon so I pulled the trigger and got them for her. She has used them every day since and loves them. Her report: they don’t shed, they’re soft, durable, have great blending ability and the carrying case is a big bonus.

I bought these as a gift for my teen daughter who is just learning to use makeup. After receiving them, they were so nice, I wanted them for myself. They are very soft and a great organizing bag included. Really beyond what I expected for the price. I would purchase again.

These are pretty soft and work nicely but they aren’t made very well and the top part comes off easily. This set would be good for beginners but don’t expect amazing brushes. They are good for the cost I guess

These are great brushes at an affordable price.Pros: You get a good amount of brushes that are soft, come at a good size and you can do you whole face plus an eyeshadow look by just using this set. All for less than $18 plus it comes in a convenient bag so it's easy for travel.Cons: It has a scent, as expected. Nothing that a few hours to air won't take care of. Also one brush, the eyeliner brush, isn't as sharp and slanted as it should be and shows in the picture. (Last picture)All in all, this set comes at a great price for all you get.
