This is real French oak, not a veneer or manufactured product! This pack covers 16 Sq. Ft. These slabs are used during the wine fermenting process to deliver specific flavors and aromas to red varietals. Typically immersed for two to three months, the character of each slab is extracted while it absorbs the wine surrounding it. After removal and drying, each piece represents its wine with exquisite color shades and aromas. 8 boards in each pack include burned-in numbers which enhance the reclaimed look. Wine flavor slabs are a beautiful type of reclaimed wood used for accent walls in homes, offices, dining establishments, as well as for flooring, furniture, picture frames, and more. Slab sizes are 59 inches long by 5 inches wide and roughly .5 inches thick. Thicknesses may vary, a characteristic of the slabs that imparts uniqueness and beauty when installed.
