But I digress.This is more of a torch style, which I really enjoy.The flame in videos doesn't really accurately reflect actual size. It's bigger in real life.The weight feels pretty good in hand even with a full 1 lb tank.If the torch isn't your style and you prefer flame-thrower style then this might be more your speed. I've used other versions of this for things like lighting my charcoal on the grill and getting fires started, but usually the igniter stops working after a month or so. but so far this one has worked flawlessly. so much time and money saved by using this instead of using lighter fluid.

Failed me right out the box the flame turned off for a little bit then it shut off and will not turn on,good thing. I had a back up. Don’t waste your money on this. It’s worthless cheaply made poor quality. What $10 more you could buy a way better towards the this this thing is pathetic.

This item starts much better than previous ones I have owned. The sparker is unconventional and not hidden, but it starts more reliably compared to the previous two similar ones I had.Plenty of flame.

I use this to start my campfires either in my backyard or while I’m camping. I guess you could say I’m lazy so instead of using paper and a lighter, I take some fat wood and wood kindling, lay them next to each other, start up this flame thrower, and the fat wood lights pretty quickly. Then the kindling catches and I’m ready for the regular firewood. Not to mention doing it with this is just more fun. I haven’t had any problems and it’s been about a month and at least a dozen campfires.

It works which is always a plus. But, it's made with thin cheap Chinese plastic. Only time will tell😬
