To the rescue!
My work laptop tends to get overly hot for me, I cannot place it on my lap for long. I decided to order a cooling fan to use on my little portable desk & this is the one I chose. I never set my hopes too high, but this cooling fan is by far the best one I’ve ordered! I caught it on sale for $30.59, but it is beyond worth the $35.99 price tag. Same day delivery & it has kept my laptop cooooool! I love it! I love the various angles you can set on the stand, it plugs into my USB port with ease & it’s performance is amazing!

It works for the price, plug it into a battery pack not your computer.
So far so good, it's similar to the 6 (or 5?) fan stand. So same basic frame, materials and functions. The plastic hinges aren't that great so you need to need to be careful and sure that you're placing the metal bar right, and that you're keeping it on a flat surface/ not moving it with a computer on it. The noise level is okay, a little loud but probably not the worst. I don't recommend plugging the Usb stuff into the computer directly, as it will drain the battery level especially if you are playing games. The cord is pretty short so you have to use a rechargeable battery thing or a longer cord. I wish the entire stand was made of metal, but you get what you pay for and the price is decent.

Good cooler
Let's be real here its not the biggest baddest fan out there but It works just like intended. My laptop gets extremely hot. Like 100° hot when running full power. This fan isnt the end all be all for cooling but it dropped my laptop temp 20° wich is a major massive improvement. Its decently quiet and its a nice stand even when ur not running the fans. All around great product great price

Does the job
Just got this delivered a few minutes ago. I have a "gaming laptop" with a 12650H and rtx 4060. Playing some games the temps would get unbearable.Powered up to full speed it barely makes any noise. Tracking GPU temperature today because I just reapplied thermal compound and thermal pads. Just from putting the laptop on this I'm seeing an average of 10c drop on GPU, hot spot and memory (gpuz). Worth the cost in my opinion. Will update if needed.

Great gift for laptop users!
A great gift for my boyfriend. Keeps the laptop cool and has cool lights. He does not use the phone holder, he doesn't need it. Definitely recommend for laptops.

Cooling pad
It's okay. I got it for my gaming laptop because it gets WAY too hot so I bought this thinking it would help. I was sort of expecting it to go higher then 6 (which is the max it'll go) but it doesn't. Even with it on when playing one of my bigger games its still hot even at the max setting, I'm a little disappointed to be honest. It doesn't even feel like it's doing anything to cool my laptop down, but I'll give it a month or so then I'll buy a different one.

Doing the Job for 4 Years
I use an LG Gram 17 as my main computer at work. It sit's on the desk for 90% of it's life and honestly not the best desktop replacement as these things get very hot when pushed since they don't have alot of room for cooling. On really intensive tasks, the laptop would throw overheat errors, throttle down, and the top of the keyboard was too hot to touch. Core Temp was showing pegged at the TJ Max temperature and slowing the computer down. I decided to try a laptop cooler to see if it would help.Compared to no cooler, core temp was showing temps as low as 15-20 degrees C cooler during the same tasks! Keep in mind this was on max speed but since I work in a noisy office, I couldn't tell the difference between all the speed settings so sound was not a concern for me. The top of the keyboard no longer got hot enough to not be able to hold a finger on it. Cooling was my primary reason for buying this and it has done that job.A secondary benefit that I didn't realize I wanted was the increased height and better angle for sitting at a desk. I have a 24 inch monitor plugged into the laptop and use a dual screen setup with the laptop monitor. This caused a height difference and I didn't realize how much I was looking up and down when I would bounce from monitor to monitor. My neck is now less strained during prolonged work. The RGB can be turned off, but since I'm also a gamer, I leave the RGB cycling to bring a little of that RGB4Life into the office. As for reliability, my laptop is always plugged in and always on as I may need to remote into it from anywhere and do some work when required. This cooler has been running for 6 months straight, no bearing noise, no failed fans, and the lights are still cycling.Overall, it has done everything I want it to do for a reasonable price.9 MONTH UPDATESo 9 months running 24/7 (I do not turn this off) on my work desk...it's still running strong. No noises or bearing failure, it was full of dust but a quick hit with compressed air and it was all clear. The lights are still working as they were on day 1 (not that it matters in my office setting). So, still very impressed with this unit. I've had high end Corsair case fans fail on me in a shorter time frame and much shorter hour count.2 YEAR UPDATEYep...2 years, non-stop running, fans at full speed. Still no failure. Just buy it.4 YEAR UPDATEHere we are, 4 years later. The computer that this thing was cooling officially died last week. Yet even after 4 years of 24/7 on max fan speed it has been working fine. No issues whatsoever.
