Hypertech 3300 Speedometer Calibrator with Color Screen

This did not work right away for me.. got an error pretty much as soon as I plugged it in on my 08 Ram 2500 6.7.. I called tech support with 15 minutes left in their day.. they knew the error and said they would stay late and get an update out within an hour.. They had it out in 30 minutes.. I updated the calibrator made it farther and got another error.. Took two more calls with Hypertech support and they were great.. fixed the errors in their software quickly, got the updates out and my speedometer is 100% accurate.. Hypertech goes the extra mile to make sure it works. I tried the competitors.. you might find my feedback on theirs, which they were happy with "pretty good" accuracy for their calibrator and having crappy support. You want great support and a product that will work for you.. get Hypertech.. BTW.. as a software application consultant, I was not bothered by them having to do software updates, its part of what I see daily but others might be. What I was rather impressed with, was the speed of the process they had to be able to roll production changes out that quickly.. pretty great work

If I could give zero stars I would!This feels like cheap hollow plastic box.Like so many have said,it would not work the first time. So I updated,same thing still won’t work and says I need to update it. Emailed tech support,when they finally responded they said my devise had a seed error,and their “seed machine” was down and maybe they would have it fixed next week. Next week emailed and asked if the seed machine was fixed? The exact response I got was “nope maybe next week”!You gotta be kidding me,this is Hypertechs technical supports official response!!!No thank you!!!It’s getting sent back and I’m gonna buy something Ruth more quality,and better support. Which at this point is any other product!!Don’t waste your money,or your time!!!It’s not worth the headache!!!

After speaking with Hypertech Tech Support to ensure the 3300 was the correct programmer for my model vehicle, I found this gem and purchased it. Much to my surprise, it arrived the next day even though expected arrival was one week out when I ordered it (no problem at all). This was great as I just bought the used vehicle and getting maintenance items up to date. Previous owners lifted and increased tire size without programming Speedo. Affects performance and shift points. Programmer online update was quick (5 minutes). Truck programming took 5-10 minutes at the most. It took me a bit to find the tire size input as I believe it was in a “custom” menu of some sorts. Either way, it was simple and quick. I adjusted the idle rpm as well. Nice little tool. Unfortunately, you have to have one for each individual vehicle, VIN assigned.

Worked great. I changed out the gears in my car and in a couple of minutes the speedometer was back on track. No issues whatsoever. Fast shipping. I received it a day early.

This is an excellant product but do not buy used. These are locked to the first vehicle used on unless user removes calibration & returns vehicle to stock prior to returning product. People are buying these, programming their vehicle, and then returning for refund. These used units get resold and are unusable since they get locked to the VIN of the vehicle. Confirmed with manufacturer. Returns to retailers should be sent back to Hypertech for "clearing". I bought "USED Like New" but found it was locked. Also be aware that for 2013 Ram 2500 6.7 Diesel in California, Hypertech does not support a unit for sale in CA because of emissions standards. Returned for refund.

Hypertech 3300 Speedometer Calibrator with Color Screen: non-California.First, I was buying a new product that was not new when it arrived.The plastic inside of it was shredded, and it had obviously been opened and used before.I went to the website and connected it to the Internet and downloaded the new software.I connected it to my vehicle and it did let me adjust my tire size.This is the only item that could be selected or changed in the computer.I have not verified functionality or accuracy of the speedometer, but I assume I will be able to change it to make it more accurate if it is not perfect.

Worked perfect to calibrate the tires size that I put on my 2016 ram rebel and very easy to change back to factory settings
