These leads work very well and don't seem to add to create any improper readings on my instruments. The cables seem to be solidly built so I am not worried about any premature failures. Should be able to use these for a long time before having to replace them.

Shockingly, I ordered cables and I was sent cables! Specifically, the cables I ordered. Another plus? They are decent quality cables. I use adhesive heat shrink tubing to reinforce some of the areas prone to wear or mechanical stresses but I don’t believe you need to do that. The cables appear well made and from good quality but inexpensive materials. For the price they seem to represent a good value but that doesn’t mean they are poorly made or constructed from rejected materials (although they might) but simply means they would fair adequately against more expensive cables, making them a relative value. Will they hold up for years of heavy use? Maybe but I didn’t buy them for the rigors of daily use, plugging in and unplugging the cables dozens of time a day or week. These would likely work for that but that isn’t how I see their value. For a home lab or shop that might use them a few times a week they are a good option at a more than reasonable price. I’ve made my own cables and test leads for a couple of decades and these are not those. They also don’t claim to be. They appear to be good quality test cables and a very reasonable price. I don’t know how long they will hold up under various operating conditions but I have no reason to think they won’t last if treated reasonably well and not tightly wound up in a circle or folded over into itself. Also, I would suggest kinks or sharp bends but that is true with even expensive test leads. These are fine cables that should hold up to the rigors of a small shop or lab if treated half-decently.

They are useful for connecting oscilloscope and signal generator to your test target. I use them for Transistor curve tracing.

I should not have to wiggle and hold BNC connector to keep a good connection. Other clips worked as advertised.
