I have never decorated a cake before but I saw the cake on this page and wanted to make one. It was a big challenge. I bought all the tools and watched “how to” videos. I think it turned out pretty good!!!

I was impressed with how large these packets are. You could decorate a batch of cupcakes using only 1, maybe 2 of these. We haven't used them yet, so I can't say anything about the taste, but they look great.

I bought this because I needed gold sanding sugar for some cake-pops I was making. The gold in this was exactly what i was looking for in regards to sanding sugar. I needed them ASAP and this was the only product I could find that fit the color I needed and that could be delivered quickly. I think there was a version of just their sanding sugar available but it would've taken too long to get in time. It feels like a true deep gold color not yellow like some other sanding sugars out there. I did run out I made about 18 cake pops and ran out after about 10 cake pops so I probably should have bought another one, I didn't use the other sprinkles much felt like they were a bit hard and not really what I wanted to cover my cake pops with. Maybe I'll find a use for all the left over sprinkles, it is a lot if you're going to use all of them.
