Cover does not prevent rust
If the griddle is left in the rain with the cover ON it will still rust with no time.

Not as pictured and damaged
The item came quickly but packaging was a mess and the item is damaged with a small hole in the cover .. also know the item is not as pictured there is no cuisinart on the cover ..
