Q: Can you use metal utensils with these pans without marring the cooking surface?

No it is not recommended, and in fact this set includes several wooden utensils. From the greenpan.com website: "Never leave an empty pan on a hot burner. To prolong the life of the non-stick, avoid metal utensils or cutting food in the pan. Using metal tools creates small cuts in the coating wherein foods and fats can stuck, which causes a layer of carbonized material. Use wooden, silicone or nylon tools. Always nest your non-stick pans carefully. Never place any metal pan covers with thin, sharp edges inside your pans.The coating does seem harder and less likely to scratch than other non-stick surfaces I've used in the past, but I want these to last for a long time, so will continue to use wooden and plastic utensils.

Q: The product description lists a different set of items than is pictured here. Description says it comes with a fry pan and grill pan. Does it?

It does not come with a grill pan but don't let that sway you... These are awesome. Food does not stick like other pans.. I did buy the grill pan and a larger pan separate

no, there is only one sauce pan. i bought this set because of the items listed in the description and it is not the same set at all. it is the one pictured. it is a nice set but i am disappointed that it isn't what i thought i was ordering and i will need to purchase additional pieces separately.
