Coconut cookies excellent, Chocochip recipe not quite there
Re Coconut Cookies - the taste is amazing and the shortbread-style texture is great. Basically indistinguishable from normal biscuits, though that is more typical re shortbread-style biscuits. There is also a good quantity in the packet. Cannot recommend these enough. Re Chocohip - The taste is excellent but, like many gluten-free biscuits, these suffer from being very very crumbly. It is rare to be able to take one out of the packet without it breaking and, despite them coming bubble-wrapped (inside the tube by the maker!) there is generally some breakage even before attempting. In the mouth, the crumbliness translates to them being a bit powdery and insubstantial, which is a common issue with GF baked goods. It is an okay attempt at GF cookies, and maybe 10 years ago I would have been delighted, but GF food has come on recently and the bar is higher.

Love the bitter choc taste
Yummy! And so addictive 🥰 The bitter chocolate hits just right. It’s crumbly, which one can of course expect from a gluten free recipe. The chocolate chips are also of good quality. They are a bit pricey, but that can also be expected from a niche business like this. Definitely buying this again - a little bit of indulgence once in a while.
