This multi- versatile tool is great for a cookbook or even your iPad as you’re cooking in the kitchen. Not only great in the kitchen but can also be used to hold up signs for parties or just while you’re reading a book. So many uses!

I'm happy I bought this stand. It looks even nicer than it did in the online pics. I plan to use it for my cell phone since the smaller ones made for cell phones looked to small and flimsy to me. Now that I have it, I think it will also work well for cooking magazines and thin cookbooks in the kitchen.

Actually I purchased it for my wife . To hold her I pad and computer for meetings etc. She loves it to do her recipes with . Most Efficient to multi task .

Your book will have to already be “flat” when it’s opened, in order for this tablet stand to hold it. In other words, a ringed binder will work. A hardback cookbook will not. A hardback will fall out; a notebook with rings will stand up, but a composition notebook will not.

It's more than twice the in-store price, but hey, this way you won't be forced to navigate around their entire store and succumb to the subtle manipulation that inevitably winds up with you leaving the store with way more than you drove the 20 miles out of town for.So maybe it's a good deal after all?

Product received as described. I use it for my tablet while relaxing in my chair. I had trouble finding a stand that accommodated a tablet encased in a tablet cover - I had bought another that did not have a wide enough lip. This stand does the job. It is also sturdy and attractive. I can see it could also serve as a book-stand, or picture stand.
