I bought this for my almost 2 year old daughter. I want to note that the product does claim to be for (i think) 3+ years old & i would assume it would be because some of the pretend packaging can come apart in smaller pieces. My daughter kept trying to get into my makeup everytime i did my makeup infront of her & i felt bad bc she wanted to do her makeup too. So i looked up different options and went with this one first. It is really cute for a younger child who doesnt understand the difference between real and play makeup. I bought this a few weeks ago maybe even a month ago & my daughter still plays with this. When i do my makeup, i like to have hers ready so that she can do hers as well. She has had small parts of the makeup in her mouth at times so young children have to be supervised very closely. This was worth the money in my opinion! Nice size. Easy. Good quality. I would reccommend to others.

When I saw this kit, I had to question whether or not I purchased a fake set or a real one because the makeup looks so real. It’s the best pretend makeup kit I’ve ever seen and my 2 year old loves it. She asks me to play makeup, so she doesn’t even need to see it to want it. My 5 year old son also joins in whenever he sees us playing and he loves to put the pretend makeup on me. Every time I look at this kit I’m amazed at how realistic it looks. Great value for the cost.

I was searching for a pretend play makeup set for my 3 year old daughter who loves to pretend to “get ready for work” like Mom! Every set I found was actual makeup, I hate children’s makeup because of the unnecessary chemicals and what it can do to sensitive toddler skin. I finally found this! It looks like makeup but is not at all! Super cute and realistic! It comes in a sturdy makeup case with a zipper that little hands can use. Each piece is so well made! Great quality, hard plastic cases that house the fake makeup! The set came with 2 lipstick tubes that turn up and down so easily, the compact case opens up to a beige shade and comes with a white powder puff to use to “apply.” It has glittered eye shadows and blushes too! When you open these packages, the glitter doesn’t budge at all, and all the fake makeup is a very soft texture! It even comes with 2 “nail polishes” and when you open them it’s a real nail polish brush! She really does feel like she’s rummaging through her makeup with all of the little products this comes with! I’m beyond happy and impressed with this purchase as it has quickly become my daughters favorite thing. It’s certainly given us some great mommy daughter time as we pretend to do each other’s makeup every day :) Most of these items are super easy to snap/twist open, but a few are a little tougher and she needs me to open. Which is no biggie and not a deal breaker at all for this item. If you have a little imaginative makeup lover in your life, this is the set for them! So glad I got this and we will keep forever!
