PLC Sport iPad and Laptop Water Resistant Ballistic Nylon Aviation Flight and Travel Bag

This serves my purposes well as a student pilot. It holds my headset, kneeboard, logbook, flight computer, MacBook Air 11 and a water bottle. Everything is easily accessible. There is still plenty of extra room for other items and I am only using half of the compartments.Mine did come with a shoulder strap. The handles are sturdy, and the zippers are covered with a material that will help them resist water. I have not checked this after a rain storm yet but it appears to be well-designed.

The bag has plenty of space and feels well made. I've only used it for a couple of weeks and hope to keep using it in the far future.

The bag is generally good quality but the rubberised carrying handle which fits over the steel cable started to split after a few months. The handle is like a “ladder” design and the “rungs” have started to break off which spoils the look of the bag totally so I’m disappointed. I will contact manufacturers and see what they say.........UPDATE........I soon had another problem with this bag in that the front pocket zipper came away from the bag itself so the pocket couldn’t be closed. I contacted the manufacturer and they asked for a description of the problem and a picture which I sent in an email. Their response to my email was very prompt and immediately agreed to send me a new bag which arrived within a few days. The new version of this bag has an improved handle design and improved zippers so I’m hoping this will last as I expect. I’m very happy with the manufacturer acknowledging the problems with their bag and sorting this out in a professional and timely manner.

I checked these bags out at Sun n Fun earlier this year, and I really wanted a backpack style bag (I know the bigger size offers that option, but I wanted it in this size). So because of that I hesitated and decided to wait. After having no luck finding anything I liked, I thought I'd go ahead and pay the hefty price tag!And wow... this bag really is made for flying. I'm a student pilot (so I carry all the old school stuff), and I wanted something to store my headset and everything else. It's amazing how much room this bag offers, and how many pockets it has.Headset, kneeboard, charts, POH, checklists, pens, flight computer, plotter, flashlights, a water bottle, snacks... it holds them all! And surprisingly easily accessible too!It's extremely well built and I see some reviews comment on the zips being poorly made... my first impression were how good quality they are!! Maybe I'm wrong, but these people must open their bags like an animal. I'm pretty certain they're designed to be waterproof too.. you know, just in case you decide to take a short cut in a single engine with high engine time! 😜It's definitely an item that you have to use in flight to understand it's true potential and effiency. Even little things such as standing up right... it makes life a whole lot easier in the cockpit!(But I do wish it had the option to be a backpack!) haha

Purchased (2) PLC Sport bags - both products 1-star - I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with product - Spent nearly $500 on product to have zipper tear from fabric on both. The rain seeps through for logbook, headset, and electronics to get wet and further damaged. Poor quality - obvious design flaw. Company wouldn't issue warranty refund because it was purchased from Amazon. WILL NOT PURCHASE again! PLUS, plastic carrying handle tears off as seen in photos - leaving handling the bag uncomfortable.UPDATE: PRODUCT STILL SUCKS!

This bag is perfect for a small plane pilot. I bought it for my husband as a present. He loves it, it fits everything he needs for a flight and doesn't take a lot of space in the plane. It is a great quality fabric and very study zippers and handles. Thank you MYGOFLIGHT for a great Product!

Hi, I recently saw one of my students with this bag and thought it would be a great addition. I believe there was a mistake with my product though because the description says a shoulder harness is included and it was not in my packaging.Please contact and or send a shoulder harness.
