This strainer works magic. Whether your kava is machine pounded or hand pounded, it captures everything and only allows liquid to pass through. Would highly recommend if it’s your first time drinking kava or even if you’re a avid kava drinker. It’s totally worth the money.

Pretty good strainer
I use this for kava and it definitely gets the job done. It is able to stop grounds from flowing into your drink. The bag doesn't always stay closed tight and sometimes have to pull drawstring more than once, but as long as you don't strain it in too much water it's no problem. This is perfect for people on a budget.

It's a polyester mesh bag.
It works like you would expect for making kava the traditional Fijian way. Definitely better than using an old t-shirt.
