Yes that's a massive but because this device has a massive over heating issue to the point I would not recommend touching it after 15 mins of use. While writing this the out side temp of the metal casing has reached 47C so I dread to think about what temp it is on the inside.Apart of the heating problem it does do what it says on the box just sort something out for cooling (i'm tempted to take it a part and put it into a custom box with a fan on).

Sometimes to get a quality device it is worth spending that bit extra, and that is certainly the case here, and I am speaking from experience having previously purchased a cheaper, inferior capture card that never really worked.I wanted a capture card to transfer video shoots from my Canon camera and occasional when required from the Webcam; all this can be achieved by my previous cheaper purchase but if you want clear videos with no buffering and clear audio then I now know I shouldn't try and cut corners.This device gives me a very easy to use, clear picture and audio solution. My camera can be attached direct to my Smart TV or my Window 10 laptop and deliver high speed perfection.As the device isn't in use continuously I was also very impressed by the storage box it came in, yes just a small plus point but a solid clear case to keep the card, cables and the manual, if I need it for reference at a later date, is appreciated.This is a well made device which gives just the results I wanted without needing to add an extra driver. Top quality, happy to recommend.

I had no problem getting this item to work and the quality was good. However after about 10 minutes i tiny thermometer symbol (icon) would start flashing in the top right of the screen. and the unit felt hot.I was unsure if the heat was enough to return it but the thermometer symbol is captured on recordings which is really annoying!.I have returned it.

This is a brilliant budget alternative to an elgato Hd60s.As soon as you plug it in, it starts working - the only issue I had was getting the sound working, but I was able to get this working by following the instructions for OBS.I also feel that the contrast was not as good as it is on the Elgato - this is something you may only notice during Gameplay videos rather than when streaming.Very simplistic package and set up if I'm honest. You'll need 2 hdmi cables a headphone and microphone port are also available if you want

This worked right out of the box on MacOS Catalina. The video is clean, and crisp video from my Canon 750D DSLR (I have to have the lens on manual mode and manually focus to remove on-camera borders, icons etc but this is the camera, NOT the capture device. I'd previously spent a MONTH chasing around with a more expensive, more popular 4K video device and had zero luck, eventually getting it refunded. This. Just. Works!

Bought this to replace an older capture card, the difference in build quality and the streaming resolution so much better than I was expecting. Works perfectly.

Very reliable hdmi capture, using Mirabox which reduces cpu load. This unit feels well built and has cables for both USB3 AND USB type C connections.

The suggested software that the instructions said to use crashed whenever you tried to actually capture anything.
