Cute! Perfect for prepping!
My 1st order with this seller. I could not even believe they addressed me by my first name on the shipping box and said thank you! Wow! These are so darn cute! Reminds me of ice cream buckets back in my day. I literally just bought 2 gallon elsewhere food grade safe and the lids do not even fit! These snap on no issues. And you can burp the air out too! These were delivered in the AZ heat! It is a super hot day! I ran and took the lids put them in front of ac and let them cool down. Will they lose shape! Nope! Buckets cool tile floor. Did not even lose shape! Wow! Not super thick mil. But, you can so put in pasta, rice, bay leaves & oxygen obsorbers. Or, little mylar bags of stuff. I canno lift nothing heavy. These will stack too. I need to research and found out how much weight each one will hold and how many I can stack.

Great for large orders
Bought these for large orders. As we make all our food in house, we need containers. If someone orders $700 worth of brisket, we need something to put the potato salad or Mac n cheese in. They look clean and classy.

Good quality, worthwhile even with expensive shipping
These replace some 20+ year old Rubbermaid containers whose lids had become brittle, and which may've also contained BPA. In initial use, they've done very well containing a variety of foods. I'm not sure the bails (handles) will hold up in the long run, but I don't really need those, so not a problem if they don't. Also like that they're still made in the USA.Update: We've used these for awhile now. My one concern with them was whether they'd stain. I'm happy to say even tomato and spicy pepper foods like masala prawns and posole leave no stains after several days. And when stored empty of course they stack inside each other to take a minimum of space. Extremely pleased.

Ice cream buckets.
Very durable can use at least 3to 4 times before needing to replace. May even get more time out of each depending on what you use them for. I make homemade ice cream and use them for up to 3 uses.

My second purchase!
We love these containers! I bought a set last year to use for gifting Christmas cookies. The size was perfect, they are food safe and they seal tightly to keep the cookies fresh. We even mailed a few across country and the cookies arrived fresh and unbroken! I especially like that they have handles which made gifting so much easier! I bought a bunch of pretty Christmas stickers and decorated the outside of each container, popped a bow on top and everyone was so tickled with their gifts. This year I ordered the same containers because friends and family asked for our cookies again this year. The containers arrive quickly and in perfect condition. The price is reasonable for what you get. I will continue to purchase from this seller and highly recommend this item!

They're okay
I have chickens. I ferment their feed (it makes it go twice as far and is better for them). I use these buckets in which to do this.My first observation is that the flexible plastic handles (made of the same plastic as the buckets) are attached to the bucket with a piece of plastic, presumably the same plastic as the buckets. It doesn't look like they are going to last long - I hope I'm wrong, but I confess I hold one hand UNDER the bucket because, when I carry it through the house, the last thing I want is for that handle to break off and have a gallon bucket half full of fermented chicken feed spilling everywhere. Also, when carrying by the handle, the weight of the bucket (45 oz) pulls the sides in as the handle elongates. I figure the handles are good for picking up the bucket but, beyond that, I'd be nervous about carrying it around by the handle. The reasons I feel nervous about this is because one of the buckets already has a split along the top where the lid snaps on. I've only had these buckets a couple of months, too, so it's not like it's years or months of use. Also, I wash them by hand rather than in the dishwasher, simply because I don't want to degrade them. Maybe it's not necessary, but I feel like it is.The plastic doesn't stink, though, so that's a huge plus. The fermented feed, however, does but that stink does not stay with the bucket once it's washed out with some warm, soapy water.I just really feel like these are cheaply made and they are not sturdy AT ALL. Overall, though, they're doing the job. For now.
