Star Wars: The Force Awakens Tin

It's a nice little memento box to remember the movie and series by. Targeted at kids and collectors of all ages, it's value for money. Wish there were action figures in it though.

The tin's a nice size though I might prefer it not to be contoured (BB8 sticks out from the lid of the tin). The book is something I could take of leave (probably leave) as it's just a picture story narrating the film - not like a novelisation of the film, but literally as if someone is giving you a blow by blow rundown of what happens. The model is nice enough, it all fits together well enough, though there's a couple of bits where it doesn't show in the instructions how certain flaps should go, so I had to take the engines apart several steps later and redo them. All in all, for a fiver it's decent, but I wouldn't say it's worth more.

My husband loves collecting everything Star Wars. Whilst these may be designed for a younger age bracket, he still gets a lot of enjoyment from them - especially when I can pick them up for just £5! The tin is great for general storage, and unlike previous tins we have bought the book is actually a storybook rather than a child's activity book. Whilst my husband prefers the original style X-Wing, he still had great fun building this model whilst we sat and watched a film. It went together well and looks good!

Amazing gift for that special one! The tin is beautiful and made with amazing details and powerful colours. Perfect to collect and keep things storage. The book actually impressed me because I have other tins from star wars and the books are quite thin and very resume like. This is big with a full colourful story. The ship - Poe's x-wing fighter is amazing. Comes with the instructions to built step by step. Looks amazing!!!! Extremely happy with the product specially at such small price!

As soon as I heard about this book I knew I'd have to get it. It reminded me instantly of the old Tales from books and the six stories within didn't disappoint and I've very much looking forward to there being more in the future. (Especiaially hoping for more of the Crimson Corsairs pirates.) I think A Recipe for death proved to be my favourite one though, although they all had their moments.

My grandson had one of these sets/tins in the summer and loved building the model. I have bought this one as a surprise Christmas present.
