The Best Fryer Available! PERIOD!
So this is my second one of these. YES! I bought a second one and didn’t even try to “shop” for a different brand. You may be wondering why I bought two? Well, I lost the first one in my divorce to the wife so......had to get one for myself. This thing is big enough to make a meal for the entire family. When I was married, we got a cheap one from a store just to try the “new fad” air fryer. They are awesome but, it was so small I could only cook 8 or so chicken nuggets for the kids. Which means I had to do this twice. Once for each kid (I have 2) and then again if I wanted some. This model solves that problem. Also, all the parts (except the lid) are dishwasher safe so cleaning is a breeze. Put the glass bowl in upside down and your good to go. Basket and racks are stainless steel so they’re in there as well. If I wanted to be nit picky, the only negative thing I can say about this is that the glass top does not come off of the cooking unit. What does this mean? It means when you need to clean the lid, you have to be careful, unplug the unit, and don’t use a wet rag. Use a damp towel. If you need soap, use light soap and a damp towel to wipe off the soap. Quick tip, reheating pizza in this is fantastic. Just wet your hand, wipe some water on the top of the crust, (so it doesn’t get hard) and put it on the rack. Another tip, if you do hotdogs or sausages or bacon, save yourself some cleaning time by putting a microwave safe plate or aluminum foil in the bottom to catch all the grease that drips. I use this everyday and if you have kids, it’s a real time saver. Reheating fries from McDonald’s is amazing. If you let McDonald’s fries get cold, they are horrible. Reheating in a microwave makes them rubber and in an oven makes them hard. Five to ten minutes in one of these makes them like you just bought them at the drive thru.

This thing is in constant use during the summer because we live in the desert and naturally avoid firing up the oven (but, hey, come winter- we don't shovel sunshine and heat, right?). We've had this for about a year and half and we really enjoy it. It is a wonderful tool for preparing low fat vegan foods (seasoned French fries), high fat vegan foods (seasoned French Fries tossed in olive oil), and really amazing steaks (we usually sear thick steaks in a hot cast iron skillet with butter then finish in the Big Boss). One of the features I like is the metal extender that allows you to control how close your food is to the heat source because the foods on top brown much faster than the foods on the bottom. The extender just allows another level of control, and it stows neatly and discretely around the base of the glass bowl when not in use (nice design). I like the Big Boss, but in the winter I go back to using my oven because I like having the space and enjoy the heat and smells rolling out of my kitchen. I use it more during the holidays when all the kitchen gadgets come alive to create one culinary extravaganza after another (Christmas comes but once a year, right?). So we use the Big Boss through the summer and pull it back out during the holidays. It's easy to clean and easy to use. Five Stars.

Great Pruchase
This a a very nice product, It was replace by a Nuwave, the features that make it superior are the glass versus polycarbonate dome (it yellowed and cracked in numerous places. It is much more expensive cooker. I love you can cook at higher temperatures. The safety handle that you raise or lower is a very nice feature. I have ready used this cooker twice since purchase. I have prepared Barbeque baby back ribs, baked fruit cobbler and Buttermilk biscuits from scratch, cooks fast with out comprising quality or flavor of your desire dish. I would highly recommend to add this to your kitchen. It is well worth it.

Not perfect, but overall I'm happy!
I have a small, poorly ventilated apartment, and cooking in my regular oven is kind of a pain, so I decided to try this convection oven as a substitute. I was concerned I wouldn't actually use it often, but I find myself using it quite a bit actually. Pros: - Transparent bowl means you can see your food cooking and make adjustments, unlike the basket-style air fryers - Heats up quickly, and the temperature gauge seems accurate - Bowl is tall enough to cook multiple levels of food (though you have to plan for food that will work well with that method, like potatoes on the bottom level and meat on top) - No oil needed for crispy food - I've had good results roasting vegetables in particular Cons: - It's HUGE, heavy, and would be a massive pain to store and take out if you don't have counter space for it. I leave it out on my counter all the time, and the footprint is pretty large, but it's a section of counter I don't use a ton anyway. - Kind of a pain to clean. As mentioned, the bowl is big and heavy and doesn't fit in the dishwasher. As long as I get to it right after I've cooked, cleaning it by hand isn't too bad. I have no idea how I'm going to clean the heating element, but so far it hasn't been a big problem. - Hard to cook a large batch of anything. I can reasonably make a meal for 2-3 in one go (ex, pork loin roast on top rack, bell peppers and winter squash underneath), but when I tried to make a bigger batch of chicken legs, rotating them halfway, they didn't get very crisp and I ended up overcooking them. So far I haven't had any concerns with it overheating, but I keep the lid clear so it ventilates properly, and I don't know if it's necessary but I keep silicone baking mats underneath to protect the countertop. I haven't had to turn my oven on since I bought it, so as long as it keeps performing at this level I'm happy!

The very first thing I made was buttermilk chicken tenders. Golden, crispy, juicy and full of flavor!!! Buy this thing!!!! Buttermilk Chicken Tenders These chicken tenders are marinated in seasoned buttermilk and air-fried to crispy, crunchy perfection. Servings: 4 Prep Time: 15 minutes (Marinade time: Overnight) Cook time: 20 Minutes Total Time: 35 Minutes INGREDIENTS FOR THE MARINADE 2 pounds chicken tenderloins 1 cup buttermilk 1-1/2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon paprika FOR THE BREADING 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 heaping teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon black pepper 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder 3/4 teaspoon paprika 3 tablespoons buttermilk FOR COOKING Peanut oil in an oil sprayer, for cooking INSTRUCTIONS To marinate the chicken: In a large sealable, combine the chicken tenders with the remaining marinade ingredients. Seal the bag tightly and massage the chicken until it is evenly coated with buttermilk and seasoning. Place in a bowl (in case of leakage) and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours. To make the breading: In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Whisk until well blended, then add the buttermilk and stir with a fork until the mixture is evenly clumpy. Preheat the Big Boss for 10 minutes at 450 degrees fahrenheit. Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade one at a time and toss into the breading mixture. Be sure to press the chicken firmly into the breading so clumps adhere to the meat. (It's a messy job: use a fork to remove the wet tenders from the marinade and your hand press into the breading.) Set breaded tenders aside onto a plate. To cook the chicken: Place the bottom rack on a plate and lay the uncooked tenders out keeping them ¼” apart. Using the oil sprayer, give each tender a decent spray of peanut oil. Coat them enough that they are not dry. Place the rack in the bottom of the Big Boss. Repeat this process for the top rack and the second half of the uncooked tenders. Set the Big Boss to 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove both racks and swap the tenders from the bottom rack to the top rack and vice versa, flipping them over while you do that. Place the racks on the plate and spray the second side with a coating of peanut oil until they are not dry. Place the racks back into the Big Boss and cook for another 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Remove the tenders and serve with Honey Dill Dip or Heartbeat Hot Sauce Co. hot sauce.

I bought the Airfryer November 2023 it was working fine and had very good time cooking chicken, steak, fries, vegetables but suddenly it stopped working after a month and a half from purchase. The tray got rusted after one wash. The return was smooth , I sent it back with printed label and got my money back. If it was still working I would have kept it and gave it a Five star. 🌟 Thanks for the quick refund.
