Great for muscle development, but will stick to clothes!
My son has SPD and needs constant stimulation. This putty has the perfect amount of resistance for his little hands to have to work hard to pull and twist it apart. We like to hide little trinkets and challenge him to find them and it provides the needed input into his body while also making it an enjoyable experience for us both! The only downfall about this is that when they pull it and it becomes stringy, it will stick to clothes. However, that is to be expected when it comes to slime/putty. To remove it, I have found freezing the clothes until the putty becomes solid and spraying with goo be gone and scraping away has been the most successful removal technique for us.

GREAT EXERCISE PUTTY!
Love the way it is helping me exercise my hands. I have Lou Gehrig Disease and I need to exercise my hands. I found this CanDo TheraPutty is just what I needed.

Good value
The Thera putty is a little hard for me to use I have neuropathy in both hands so I use it a couple times a days. I place various sizes of beads in it and then find them again using my fingertips. Since I hold the putty in my hands it warms up and stretches. I did get some on my slacks that I couldn’t remove. Typically I use it on a wooden board just to keep my work surface clean. I found this is a good value.

Got for ADHD son
The counselor at school recommended this for my son (and daughter too) to squeeze at school to help work their hand muscles to help with focus. I bought the big tub so they can have some at school and home. Is so am sharing with the school for other kids too. Plenty for that purpose! I bought green and red. Not a huge difference in strength but that's ok - it serves it's purpose for us. They both have some at school. The consistency reminds me of silly putty which I've had problems with in the past with fabric so I've instructed them to be as careful as possible near fabric. After a while it moves as a blob and flattens out, so I keep it in smaller amounts in baggies. I'm def satisfied with it. Some other reviews indicated that others came in unmarked packages - this was just like the pic in a marked tub.

Theraputty: good muscle stretch exercises after arm immobility
Useful for physical therapy after a broken arm/wrist (Colles fracture). The one pound Theraputty Soft (red) provides just enough resistance to give a good stretch to those muscles that were stationary for too long in a cast. This resistance allows for squeezing, pushing, twisting, and the pinching and pulling exercises required for restretching the shortened muscles.

Cando Putty really works.
I was introduced to this product in physical therapy for a condition called "writer's cramp". It has helped to strengthen my hand with the result that I do not drop things as often and can open jars and lids in general more easily.

Like hard plastic
Don't recommend. The soft stuff was hard and plastic like and to oily. I tossed it.
