Flex Edge Beater for KitchenAid Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer - 6 Quart Flat Beater Paddle with Flexible Silicone Edges

I bought this to replace the paddle attachment that came with my Kitchenaid 6qt stand mixer, which didn’t really scrape the bowl very well. This new paddle is much better at mixing ingredients for cookie dough or cake batter, and fits my bowl perfectly. I’m so glad I bought it since I don’t have to stop the mixer to scrape down the sides of the bowl very often at all. It saves me a lot of time! I do still hand wash it so the silicone edges will last longer.

I bought this flex edge beater to replace the original KitchenAid beater that finally broke, and it’s been just as good as the original. Honestly, I can’t tell a difference in performance, and in some ways I like this one better because of the silicone edges. It’s been excellent for baking, especially frosting and cookies. It scrapes the sides and bottom of the bowl as it mixes, so everything gets incorporated evenly without stopping to scrape. Frosting comes out smooth and fluffy, and cookie dough mixes evenly without unmixed spots. The fit is solid, it feels sturdy, and it hasn’t scratched the bowl at all. Cleanup is easy, and it handles thicker mixes without any issues. If you’re replacing a broken KitchenAid beater and don’t want to spend extra, this is a great option. It does the same job and performs just as well.

I bought my bowl lift mixer years ago and actually preferred my hand mixer for some things because no matter how much I tried to adjust the mixer, the paddle left some of my ingredients untouched at the bottom of the bowl and I also had to constantly scrape down the sides. The original paddle attachment breaking is one of the best things that ever happened in my relationship with my stand mixer. This cheap replacement works so well!!! It scrapes the sides and everything on the bottom of the bowl gets mixed in too. It’s sturdy enough to mash large batches of mashed potatoes, mix up meatloaf, or mix cookie dough. I hand wash it, because anything with a rubber or silicone edge is going to degrade faster in the dishwasher. But if I had to buy one every few months I wouldn’t care. Absolutely love this thing

This DOES NOT fit securely to my kitchenaid Pro bowl lift mixer. My fault for hoping and believing it would SINCE it SAYS " FOR KITCHENAID!!!!". IT RATTLES LOOSE EACH TIME. DONT BUY!!!

After about 8 months of usage, the silicone spatula is cracking and breaking off. Despite this the paddle works well and reaches the sides of the bowl perfectly. I just wish it would last longer.

This saves us a ton of time by not having to scrape the sides of the bowl constantly! It also beats the ingredients so much better and you get a more consistent result every time. Highly recommend for anyone using their stand mixers regularly!

Works very well for making dough

This paddle attachment is labelled wrong in the Amazon system. It is not for the 6Qt bowl lift mixer but for the 4.5/5Qt tilt head mixer.
