Very nice ice bucket. The size is great for a small bucket and ice stayed firm for a very long time.

I was not expecting much. Just needed something cute and little for my outdoor bar top. I accidentally left this thing out all night (not in direct sunlight) and still found ice the next day around the same time!!!! The lid has a tight seal and we keep the tongs on the side of the bucket. This thing is perfect! I’m so glad to see it was affordable as well. Worth it

So I ran a test to see if this was actually properly double-walled. (We got the wooden-lidded version.) I filled it with ice, and filled a mixing bowl with an equivalent amount of ice next to it. Put the lid on this and covered the bowl with a silpat. The ice in the bowl melted more quickly - by about 8 hours, and I lifted the lid on this and on mixing bowl’s silpat approx every 2 hours (except while sleeping) to check the melt progress. The exterior of this did get cold in our 70-degree (f)/kind of humid kitchen - which is not usually a sign of true double-walled, vacuum-insulated products, but it never did sweat like the mixing bowl did. Though… the bowl didn’t sweat much. Melt time for the mixing bowl/silpat lid: 16ish hours (to get down to water and just a few melty cubes). Melt time on this product, to an equivalent water/cubage ratio: 24ish hours. The product would be well-served with two things: 1. A gasket on the lid to better seal the bucket, 2. A strainer/tray at the bottom to keep ice from wallowing in its own melt, furthering the rate of ice decay. It may also suffer from poorly sealed holes where the handles are affixed to the bucket, which could affect the vacuum insulation (they appear to be screwed in, not welded on, but I can’t tell for sure). But hey, for the price/aesthetic, it’ll do just fine. Not a truly scientific approach, but good enough for me to keep this instead of using a mixing bowl for party ice, which is what we did before.

Held ice in 80 degree shady area for over 7 hours and probably longer but someone else dumped it before I could check. Great for outdoor bar setup.

Arrived with some scratches, was covered in water drop stains after first use. Don't love it, but will keep it because I missed the return window.

This is the best ice cooler/holder I have used kept the ice for hours without any melting.

I am appalled by the quality of the product! Image #1: the circumference of the bucket is not even a proper circle, Image #2: the hook to hang the tong is slanted, Image #3 and #4: the lid does not close properly due to the imperfection of the lid and bucket itself. Made in India = very poor quality! I have asked for a refund and I hope the seller will honour the request.

This is a big bucket. It easily took 3/4th bag of ice. The ice didn’t melt for at least an hour. Could have actually gone for longer if people would have closed the lid after using the bucket. The lid is airtight and it does take both hands to open it. All in all a good product. Just wish it were a little smaller so it could fit in my bar. But if you are hosting a crowd, get this bucket
