I had been using a bottom tier equalizer cold knife. It was hard on my hands, wrist, back, arms. Thought the darn thing would give me a hernia every time I used it. I hated it, I dreaded every time my fiber line broke and I had to use the darn thing. The Wiz saved my life!!! Three days after I had purchased the wiz I found myself in need of a cold knife. I had that dread, that awful gut feeling that this was gonna stink, and I mean bad! All of a sudden I remembered I had bought the Wiz! I pulled it of the tool drawer and took the plastic protector off the blade, carefully inserted the blade in the top of the windshield where my line kept breaking on some shards of broken glass. I aligned my self across the windshield gripped the Wiz and pulled with all my might, to my surprise she passed through that urethane like butter, like soft, spreadable butter that had been sitting in the counter on a 80 degree day! Thanks Wiz, you saved my life!

I don’t even know where to be begin, these are so much better than the round handle pull knifes and you don’t have to remove any bolts to switch your blades which does make it safer when handling cold knife blades. To me it’s very comfortable to hold and pull because of its width and foam handle and definitely makes changing glass much easier so I had bought two of these one for a short and long so I don’t have to change as often.

This cold knife works great. The tapered end and ability to adjust the blade height when cutting out windshields has made my job significantly easier.

The way it cuts and the durability well worth the money !
